Last few of days to comment on the #BTStreetHub Op. 173 Kingston Road (Near Merton Park Tram Crossing)
It is actually being placed in a Tree pit? & @Merton_Council has already recommended Grant Permission BEFORE comments closed!
See the mock-up in place & photo of how it is used.
ALT In the picture, you can see the border of the tree pit (now filled with tarmac) after poor Council Street Tree management.
ALT Wider than a phone box, in use it blocks even more of the pavement as the user has to stand on the side (designed so user doesn't block ads, but no consideration for blocking pedestrians).

Anyone in doubt of what glyphosate does: South Park Gardens tree pits and bedding; This is not weeding- it’s scorching to death. @Merton_Council @idverdeUK Can you PLS stop. Can u confirm what was used in Cardinal Avenue this morning pls? @AndrewKauffma20

Us trees try not to be political but please get rid of these jokers in charge. The local elections are coming up. Please vote for parties that will care and protect us
Remember the illegal action @TrustfordUK took cutting down trees on Plough Lane a year ago? They are wanting to "plant" an illuminated 8ft sign, an illuminated 15½ft blue arch & other signage in the conservation area.
See application 22/P0782
Yes when ??
That's great but when will @Merton_Council instruct their contractors to stop spraying harmful weedkillers in our local parks?

Every time you inspire and teach these young people importance of environment conservation and being good stewards of the planet ,you are securing their future and making the planet a more habitable place. Let's keep planting trees.

Does @FenniesUK Nursery think their "environmental awareness from an early age" & involvement with @EcoSchools allow for damage to a tree with a long-standing TPO Tree Protection Order at their new #RaynesPark site? @campbellandcoa1

@Merton_Council @MartinWhelton Any chance Merton could get involved and make this the norm rather than the exception? @WimSoc @MitchamCrktGrn @ravensburygrove @wimbledonfriend @MertonMatters @MertonTrees @HaydonsNorth @Clarion_Group
Over the last few months I’ve been working to create a project that puts boxes of wildlife goodies free into new build homes, to encourage people to make their new gardens attractive to wildlife. it’s called Nature Box and the first ones head out very soon. #rewilding
Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do! #MyTwitterAnniversary wow on a year we have lost so many of our brothers and sisters - stop the Fell

Another sad incident for @MertonTrees - this one hit by a truck on Quicks Road. We've reported to the council as SRQ-730469-L3Q2D1 along with the registration of the vehicle involved. Let's make sure their insurance gets this fixed @Merton_Council.
Us trees are not political we we do agree - change is needed in #Merton
Really pleased that more and more groups are being set up to hold @Merton_Council @MertonLabour and ALL councillors to account!
We need a change in #Merton #OutWithLabour and OUT with current councillors who are failing us!!
Please don’t let this happen good people in Merton
All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) Expansion
The Society is very concerned about the AELTC plans to build on Metropolitan Open Land #trees #environment #concrete wimbledonsociety.org.uk/plan…
The current draft of the #COP26 agreement text is not strong enough. Phasing out ALL fossil fuels is critical to keep global temperatures under 1.5C.
@AlokSharma_RDG @BorisJohnson it’s time to end all new fossil fuel projects and focus on a just transition. #StopFailingUs
