Open Letter to Amazon:
Remove Race from Your Support Programme
Dear Amazon,
The U.S. government rightly regards South Africa’s race-based policies as a barrier to trade.
One of the five key asks of the Trump administration is that race-based requirements imposed on American companies be removed.
Solidarity supports this position.
Yet Amazon, an American corporate giant, is going even further than South African law itself requires.
Only companies that are 100% black-owned qualify for one of Amazon’s support programmes in South Africa.
Any white shareholding disqualifies a company from participating in the programme.
Amazon calls this racially exclusive programme “diversity”.
There is a glaring contradiction here: while the U.S. government is fighting against trade barriers created by race-based policies, Amazon is imposing draconian racial restrictions on companies seeking to do business with it in South Africa.
Exclusion based on race is not diversity.
We therefore call on Amazon to remove race from its support programme. Racial exclusion is morally indefensible.
Dr Dirk Hermann

Congratulations to @AdriaanBasson, @PieterDuToit, @wicks_jeff and the entire Media24 crew for losing more money this financial year than last year. Naspers must be so proud!
2025 - Loss of R247 Million
2026 - Loss of R313 Million
This means that Media24 is losing Naspers R855,000 every single day they keep their doors open.
Keep up the great work, guys and don't forget to blame AfriMAGA for this one too!

If this is the type of comments that leak from your department, it adds weight to the rumors of how department insiders speak of farmers with contempt behind closed doors.

FM @RonaldLamola, you blame concerns about violence and failed governance on "MAGA politics." Ghana and Nigeria just airlifted their citizens out of your country. Thousands of South Africans are fleeing to America to escape your government’s Left-wing policies. Unemployment still remains at 33% while you and corrupt government elites get rich while promoting race-based laws and chanting "Kill the Boer." If caring about your own citizens is MAGA, South Africa might want to give it a try.
The South Africa Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ronald Lamola, has once again attacked President Donald Trump and the millions of Americans that voted for him:
“We know, that in the US, the MAGA movement is very clear to attack black people. We know what they stand for. They stand against the human rights."
In November 2025, in a CNN interview, Minister Lamola accused Trump's administration of pushing an "agenda of white supremacy."
Is this what you and your comrades consider "doing everything we can to fix the diplomatic crisis with the USA," President Ramaphosa? 🤨
South Africa has extremely racist laws
🇿🇦 South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says that the country will not abandon its DEI policies, known as “Black Economic Empowerment (BEE).”
“Those who say BEE and affirmative action must stop are just dreaming,” he said.
South Africa has strict laws that mandate race-based hiring practices.
A new law called the Employment Equity Amendment Act sets hiring targets for 2025–2030 across 18 economic sectors.
Some workforce targets aim for 90–96% of employees to come from designated groups, which include Black people, women, and people with disabilities (minimum 3%).
That means that if a company has more than 5% white men, it could face penalties of up to 10% of its income.

#DircoSilentOnIran Dirco/Min Lamola quick to respond against Israel and US. GNU foreign policy supposed to be based on Human Rights. Between 2500-3000 Iranian civilians have been killed by Iranian regime. Total silence from Dirco - No condemnation…nothing !! @maroelamedia @IOL
The facts are there for anyone to observe.
South Africa now has more anti-White laws than there were anti-Black laws under Apartheid!
I am extremely opposed to anti-Black laws, but equally opposed to the laws against White people or other races too. There should be a fair and even playing field.

This is getting absurd. @PressCouncil_SA, when are you going to step in and take action?
Please share this post and tag the Press Council in it so that they can see how frustrated people are by the constant harassment and fake news being spread by @News24
Yet another apology from News24 for publishing lies about @afriforum and @solidariteit. Maybe it is time that @AdriaanBasson and @PieterDuToit realise that their hatred for AfriForum is clouding their judgment and, in the process, destroying the little credibility @News24 has left.
How many judgments do you think the Press Ombud has to issue against News24 before they stop publishing fake news? Or is their lack of journalistic integrity so chronic that they will simply continue to attack AfriForum with lies?
Watch this space for more apologies to AfriForum from other media houses.

If the same media house is forced to apologise and rectify their reporting over and over again, there should be some kind of punishment forcing them to change their management or to fine their editors! It's News24 again news24.com/citypress/news/co…

To every single person who is blaming random South Africans for the decision of the United States, please go and read the bill by Senator Kennedy to find out why they are doing this.
It has nothing to do with Afriforum/Solidarity but everything to do with the ANC's behaviour. Mainstream Media refuses to give you the facts and would rather defend the actions of the ANC government.
At what point will you realise that this is a massive disinformation campaign funded by the ANC and their lapdogs?
