Intelligems is now a Shopify Certified Technology Partner — one of only ~100 apps in the entire Shopify ecosystem to earn it.
We were invited into the program, which comes with a rigorous review. Shopify's team evaluates every app on performance, privacy, and the quality and speed of support, and each partner has to pass an independent third-party security assessment.
That bar is how we've always approached building Intelligems. We sweat the details, take data security seriously, and have always prioritized world-class support. It's just nice to have Shopify's stamp of approval on our approach.
Proud of this team, and thanks to our friends @Shopify!

Did a podcast with the legend @andrewjfaris and had an absolute blast.
Shared some more in depth insights about the tests we ran and the results they got and why they got there.

No way this will be fun or valuable at all.
Me and @natelagos and @ryanlevander? Total snoozefest. Do not attend.
Hot topic in ecom right now: does running A/B tests on your site actually hurt your ad performance?
We asked three people who've actually lived it to debate it live on Jul 2 > @binghott @natelagos @ryanlevander
These three don't fully agree with each other. We're not promising a clean verdict or defending anyone's POV. Just practitioners with real reps on both sides of this, talking it through honestly.

Mother’s Day sale tip: don’t just say 10% off. Show it.
Strike the original price, bold the sale price, add the badge, remove the math.
Gift shoppers move fast. Clarity converts.
One recent test: 10% off lifted CVR 13.38% and RPV 9.79%.

Still seeing this on 7-figure Shopify stores in 2026.
"Shipping calculated at checkout", sitting right below the ATC button on a PDP that already promises free shipping over a certain threshold.
One line. Contradicting everything above it.
Here's what happens in the customer's head when they see it:
Wait. Is shipping actually free or not? Will there be a surprise fee at checkout? Should I just check somewhere else first? How much is the extra fee?
That hesitation is all it takes for you to lose the sale.
We tested removing it. Nothing else changed.
Go check your store right now.

Most free shipping thresholds are round numbers someone picked in a meeting.
$50. $75. $100.
Sounds clean. Usually wrong.
Your orders don't cluster at round numbers. They cluster wherever your product mix naturally lands.
A few months ago I shared a framework for finding those natural peaks:
- Graph your order history
- Spot where carts pile up
- Test thresholds at those peaks instead of guessing
Today I took that framework and ran it on a real brand using the Intelligems MCP.
Here's what happened:
I asked Claude to pull the brand's sitewide order data through our MCP.
It found the natural clustering points.
It recommended specific thresholds to A/B test.
All from a conversation. No exports. No pivot tables.
This is the part that matters:
The best free shipping threshold isn't the one that "feels right."
It's the one where your data says customers are already close to spending.
You test that. You measure profit per visitor. You find the answer.
The Intelligems MCP now has full sitewide analytics access so you can do exactly this yourself.
The easiest way to discover your natural free shipping threshold is to look at where your orders naturally group together...
- Graph your recent order history and spot the natural peaks instead of forcing round numbers like $50 or $75
- Track which cart values have the highest abandonment rates to reveal where your threshold creates artificial cliffs
- Identify what products appear most in carts just above your threshold—if it's stickers and samples, customers are telling you something
- Test thresholds where orders naturally pile up and measure profit per visitor, not just AOV
Your data already knows the answer

The split test of the week was a DRAW
I wanted to show everyone that not every test is a banger. Sometimes you can't get a win.
What's important is was you do next.
In this scenario, we wrote new headlines, very different from the first 3 we tested, and are seeing much better results than test 1.
So, if you don't get a win right away on an @Intelligems test, don't quit, keep going!

I've heard @drewsanocki talk about how the first thing he used to when acquiring ecom businesses was cut this.
And I've said it a million times on my pod, but this is an absolute no-brainer @Intelligems test.
