No healthy person will ever understand how terrifying it is having to try random drugs in hopes they might help you, while knowing they could equally make you 10x more ill. But the alternative is just stay ill.

If you’d like to support my efforts and the work that I’m doing to help others, please do so even a share goes a long way. It’s been a rough few months, but I’m pushing forward and I want to keep working to generate awareness while bridging the gap until I find full-time employment. gofund.me/185171594 PayPal:80ssummercamp@gmail.com Thanks, YerAweSum.

Drug regulation needs to be less strict, not more. The system has stripped patients of the right to try the most promising drug combinations and disguised it as safety. It isn’t safer. They just end up on the unregulated and alternative treatment market instead.

A study in Scientific Reports scanned the hearts of people two years after COVID. The title says long COVID population, but most participants had no symptoms. This is a study of COVID survivors, mostly symptom free. And 39% of them had a blood-flow defect on heart imaging🧵

If you need a good reason to mask: Long Covid brain fog doesn't fade - it objectively progresses and worsens over time. In one cohort, cognitive symptoms nearly doubled from 27% to 53% over ~2.5 years, with objective test scores declining and impairment rising from 26% to 36%. This happens even after "mild" infections. Wear a well-fitting respirator (N95/KN95/KF94) in shared indoor spaces. 🧠😷

Kaposi sarcoma update. This isn't *case numbers*, it's the *number of hospital episodes* - but this is data routinely used in major studies and news reports to assess the impact of conditions on population health and healthcare. Pre-covid average: 260 a year Now: 445

Emma Navarro shares that she’s been struggling with a condition called RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) as well as Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. In her full IG post, she opens up about the struggles she’s faced for 3 years. “So yeah. I gained some weight this year. But I also gained my life back. I have enough energy to seize every day, to train or compete as hard as I want to, and to live a life outside of tennis. To laugh, to be curious, to be spontaneous, to spend time with the people I care about, to feel joy, hope and positivity, and to appreciate the incredible gift of life. And I have learned that there is no weight on the scale or leanness in your limbs that is more valuable than your health or your well-being. All that being said, I am taking the rest of this year to work on dialing in my medication and fueling protocols so that I can hopefully feel back to 100% again. I will not be competing in Asia this year, but I plan to be back on the road starting in Australia 2027.” You never know what someone’s going through… big respect to her for navigating all of this with strength and with the right priorities. Health and happiness always come first. Keep going, Emma. ❤️

A friend has Covid right now. They have lost their sense of smell and they're having cognitive problems. This hit me today, as it often does: we made, and continue to make, a huge collective mistake in allowing a virus that impacts the brain to transmit unmitigated globally.
