How changes in kinetics of #splicing can lead to proteotoxic cell death & what is the role of #ubiquitination and ER-phagy in this process?
Congrats to Cristian & all collaborators for this fascinating discovery 👏

It is finally out! My first @ScienceMagazine paper is online and it does not seem real😃. I am Incredibly happy! Really thanks to all my coauthors and special mention to my incredible supervisor @iDikic2 for all the support and trust ! 🫶. Science science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…
Excited to share our latest research published in @ScienceMagazine! Cryptic splicing can lead to proteotoxic stress, but how do cells cope? Our study uncovers the role of ubiquitination and ER-phagy in mitigating the effects of misfolded proteins. science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…

🥳Excited to share our latest research on the role of the autophagy-lysosome system in tumour progression! #cancer #immunotherapy #autophagy @FCI_health @EnableFrankfurt @IBC2_GU @goetheuni sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
We identified IRGQ as a key regulator of MHC-I quality control. Its absence enhances CD8+ T cell responses. Reduced IRGQ levels in hepatocellular carcinoma patients and mouse models lead to improved survival by promoting anti-tumour immunity. #CancerResearch #Immunotherapy
And, of course, a huge thank you to all our collaborators and funders 🫶 @IBC2_GU @EnableFrankfurt @sfb1177
