I wish I had the shamelessness of the American Far Right to call an (almost) mass-shooting incident "a few offensive online posts".

This guy interned for Ted Cruz and was active as a conservative youth organizer. But it seems his commitment to conservative principles shattered upon contact with a few offensive online posts.

From what I have seen, nothing is hard enough to copy if you can get a RL env and a 200$ Claude subscription.

That's an operational moat (sure, need a lot of skill to be good at operations) , but now we are comparing software companies like commodities from a factory or commerical airlines so again, the moat is not technology itself.

Recreating Chola time warship is a much bigger achievement than making digging holes a national economic policy

The convo that nobody is ready for is that AI has made every "technical" moat dead , especially if you are building a wrapper over Open Source Software, so now you are basically like every luxury perfume brand competing on marketing and aesthetics.
Is there a real moat for all of these sandbox companies? Feels like everyone is pivoting and the product is always the same??? - Fast boot time - High clock speed - Scale up and to zero But like beyond lightweight microVMs it feels like the technical depth is fairly shallow? Like everyone is running on the same CPUs, and you can't really optimize the actual workloads because its just random agent-generated code at runtime. Aside from race-to-the-bottom on pricing, how do you compete?

Macron: its done bro.
The French students are incredibly powerful and their messaging is loud and justified. They want good schools. The French government should listen and refrain from any brutality. It's time to set a precedent on how to deal with peaceful protests with compassion. (/s)

Broadband used to suck ass. Everytime there were rains the piece of shit BSNL broadband at my home would give up the ghost in 2008 and I have gone 2 months without the internet until they redid the wires in our area.
