The open to all men principle of @F3Nation hits different than anything I’ve experienced in life. When it comes to closing in on what a sad clown i was: 500 pounds, pre-diabetic, 6 months out of the scariest moment of life in the ICU. 5 Pulminary Embolisms, in septic shock, kidney failure, liver failure, heart failure, optical neuropathy (blind due to nerve damage), neuropathy in feet and legs, and 2 other blood clots. Found out later from doctors 1/500,000 chance of surviving the night. At the time, I had no faith foundation. Yet, God knew I’d find him down the road and had other plans for me. Thankfully so. I would have had no idea or have been able to find this incredible community that @F3Omaha has to offer. The love and support that has been shown to me and so many others is amazing. No words seem powerful enough to describe the experience. It’s truly just that great. From a recovering Sad Clown, I have been given this life changing and for me life saving gift of @F3Nation and its allotted me so many successes up to this point and I’m excited and grateful for what’s yet to come. - Down 130 pounds. - No longer pre-diabetic - Bloodwork is now normalized - Reduced my blood pressure medicines 4 times and now on the lowest dosage. -Newfound hope, love, and faith in God’s plan. - Vision rapidly came back. You can attend a football game and watch in the stands. It’s so much better being on the field playing. The best part of it all is that I get to be part of experiencing life as opposed to watching others around me from the sidelines! Much love to all the brothers of mine that I’ve gained near and far!
