What goes better with @UCIrvine than boba? Standard magnetic microbeads can template unusually uniform gel particles just by bulk emulsification. Lots of potential apps, but this paper details a super nifty one: proximity-driven biochemical synthesis!

First of a suite of papers describing new technology for encoded library analysis. Working w/ our collaborators @genentech, the incomparable @JuanHu19 describes a microfluidic droplet-compatible membrane permeation assay. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
