It’s been a long time coming, but the teams are back and both of our restaurants are buzzing with the hum of activity once again. ☺️🔥

Tier 2 it is then. I was berating it back when it first came in but given the current circumstances and lockdown 2.0 this now, amazingly, seems like a massive win.

If you didn't manage to catch the whole of @C4Dispatches last night this is worth watching. It's what at stake in the UK's current post-Brexit trade negotiations.

Cauliflower shawarma anyone? Needed something to brighten up this miserable Bank Holiday weather @berberandq. This and a much loved visit from nmdavies9 was just the ticket! 👩🏻🍳😊#lockdown2020 #bankholidayweekend… instagram.com/p/CEi8jAepP2v/…

My last oral Mayor’s Question before lockdown was asking for a rent holiday for TfL rail arch tenants. Great to join @Heidi_LDN today to visit @58Gin and @BERBERANDQ in Haggerston to hear about the creativity of micro-businesses getting through the pandemic and TfL’s support.
ALT Visiting rail arch business who provided food for NHS workers through the pandemic.
ALT TfL giving award to rail arch business who turned to feeding NHS workers.
ALT This business made hand sanitiser instead of gin to get through the pandemic
ALT Turning Earth full of praise for TfL support to get through the pandemic.
