The tube strike showing just how many people can get around on a bike and how much less space is taken up by people cycling rather than sitting in cars. Hope TfL will check if there’s any lessons to learn or changes to make to keep people on their bikes on non strike days too.

As long as people are stuck in car dependency without good public transport, those who should not be behind a wheel will be forced to resist rules to restrict them. Ending road death MUST mean green transport ££ and lower speeds, car sizes and traffic, not just action on drivers
