@mybmc @mybmcRoads #Mulund #TWard #MCGM #Potholes #RoadRepair #RoadMaintenance #QualityWork #PublicMoney @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @VarshaEGaikwad @SDPatil_16 @mayur_mumbai @ShelarAshish @TawdeRitu @mihirkotecha @RajThackeray @OfficeofUT @uddhavthackeray @ShivSenaUBT_ @uddhav @mulund_info @MulundMumbai @ZeeNews @PTI_News @Tv7News80934 @mumcrimepnews @mumbaicrime1 @ABPNews @BBCHindi @Marathinew31814 @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @Marathi_Rash @PatrakarNManiar @Manojsu38345382 @RajeshIngleINC @SunilGangwani_ @INCRakeshMulund @ManojSansare143 @SandeepVare1 @Tward @mybmcWardT @VinodK24183 @KishoriPednekar @PTI_News @ABPNews @ZeeNews @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @bbcnewsmarathi @RoadsMumbai @mybmc @nitin_gadkari

BMC on Saturday completed repairs to the leakage in its 3,000-mm-diameter Mumbai-III water main near Teen Hath Naka in Thane, with water supply to Mumbai city and the eastern suburbs expected to be restored in phases from 9pm. The repair work was completed at 5pm after civic engineers and staff worked through the day to address the leak in the major water pipeline. The leakage was first detected on Thursday night. BMC officials initially plugged the hole using a wooden stopper to contain the leak. The area around the damaged section was subsequently excavated, and accumulated water was pumped out to expose and dry the affected portion. The civic body had planned to permanently repair the damaged section by installing a mild steel (MS) patch plate and welding it in place. However, the pipeline developed another leak on Saturday, and the high water pressure hampered repair operations, affecting water supply to Mumbai city and the eastern suburbs. BMC coordinated with the Pise Pumping Station and Panjarapur Water Treatment Plant to control the water flow and safely carry out repairs to the pressurised pipeline. According to the civic body, once the pipeline is recharged and pressurised, water supply will be restored in a phased manner from 9pm.

Serious concerns have been raised regarding trench reinstatement work at Chandan Bagh and Neelkanth Nagar, Mulund West. The work appears to be carried out by simply laying cold mix over the existing khadi and compacting it with a road roller, without proper cleaning of the trench and without the required DBM (Dense Bituminous Macadam) layer. If these observations are correct, the work may not comply with the prescribed reinstatement standards and could compromise the quality and durability of the road. It is even more concerning that this work is reportedly being carried out barely 50 metres from the T Ward office, creating the impression that the contractor has little fear of inspection or enforcement. I request the @mybmc T Ward Maintenance Department to immediately inspect this work, verify whether all specifications and contract conditions have been followed, and, if any violations are found, take strict action against the responsible contractor and officials. The public now awaits transparent and timely action. #Mulund #Mumbai #RoadSafety #Accountability #BMC @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @VarshaEGaikwad @SDPatil_16 @rautsanjay61 @mayur_mumbai @ShelarAshish @TawdeRitu @mihirkotecha @RajThackeray @OfficeofUT @uddhavthackeray @ShivSenaUBT_ @uddhav @mulund_info @MulundMumbai @ZeeNews @PTI_News @Tv7News80934 @mumcrimepnews @mumbaicrime1 @ABPNews @BBCHindi @Marathinew31814 @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @Marathi_Rash @PatrakarNManiar @Manojsu38345382 @RajeshIngleINC @SunilGangwani_ @INCRakeshMulund @ManojSansare143 @SandeepVare1 @Tward @mybmcWardT @VinodK24183 @KishoriPednekar @PTI_News @ABPNews @ZeeNews @TV9Marathi @News18_marathi @bbcnewsmarathi

The BMC inquiry committee into the Chembur tree crash incident, has recommended penalties totalling Rs 7 lakh against the contractor and consultant associated with storm-water drain works near the Peepal tree that uprooted and fell on a school bus in Chembur on June 30, killing an 11-year-old Vihaan Srivastav, while absolving the civic body’s roads and gardens departments of prima facie negligence.
A school going student Vihaan Srivastava (11) was killed and four others were injured after a 70 year old roadside peepal tree was uprooted and crashed onto a school van carrying the children from Universal High School in Chembur west on Tuesday afternoon. Vihaan was the only child off his parents & enjoyed playing a game of cricket like many kids of his age. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/…
