Juhu circle is the most followed section of Line 2B by infra enthusiasts. Being one of the complex section with the flyover below which is aligning from WEH, continuing and exiting below to connect it to BVSL. 1st in mumbai i suppose.

If India’s Metro network had continued expanding at the pace it did before 2014, how long would the wait be for cities like Pune to have a metro?
YEARS….no…DECADES perhaps.
And that was UNACCEPTABLE.
In 2014, India had just 248 km of Metro lines across 5 cities.
Today, we have nearly 1,200 km across 26 cities.
Over 1 crore people travel by Metro every day.

Finally BEST buses get their own designated space to park. This is right next to Borivali telephone exchange near Swami Vivekanand Statue on the west side. Buses were mostly parked on the road leading to traffic. 247, 294, 269, 245 are some of the originating routes from here
Early morning demolition commenced by the @mybmc after fiasco in Supreme Court yesterday over failure of Mumbai civic body to remove encroachments on a plot reserved for a BEST substation. In a first rather the SC asked for the BMC Commissioner’s salary to be stopped over it.
BMC sprung into action at 8 am today with the plot expected to be cleared of squatters by afternoon. More updates soon.

Man this Sewri-Worli elevated road is such a complex one given the fact that it’ll pass through both WR and CR. But good to always see some progress here. This is going to be a crazy elevated road to drive on.
Also, Worli to Sewri is about 4KMs, which means at an uninterrupted speed of 80KMPH (if we assume speed limits to be 80), one could cover this distance in just 3 mins as opposed to the current 30-60 mins! 😳
Similar to our beloved Gokhale Bridge, it looks like a giant dhaancha will be launched soon over the railway tracks, hopefully by next month?
Why isn't Bandra Colony metro station being connected to Kalina campus of university via walking bridge or subway? Thousands of daily students and staff will get benefitted through it, easing BEST bus crowd and also increasing patronage. @MumbaiMetro3 @AshwiniBhide

आज समस्त X जनता कर्जत मध्ये जलविद्युत प्रकल्पासाठी होणाऱ्या वृक्षतोडीला विरोध करत आहे
पण ह्याच लोकांकडून कर्जत मधेच फोफावणाऱ्या रिसॉर्ट, plot स्कीम विरोधात कधी एक शब्द ऐकला नाही
सगळे बिल्डर ह्यांचे मित्र आहेत असं वाटतं कारण बिल्डरांना कोणी विरोध करत नाही.
कर्जत तालुक्यात गुजरातच्या 'टोरंट पॉवर' कंपनीच्या जलविद्युत प्रकल्पासाठी हजारो झाडांची बेसुमार कत्तल राजरोसपणे सुरू आहे. 'सायडोंगर' परिसरातील समृद्ध निसर्ग संपवून, स्थानिकांच्या आणि पर्यावरणप्रेमींच्या विरोधाला पायदळी तुडवून ही कत्तल कुणाच्या आशीर्वादाने सुरू आहे?
१. स्थानिकांचा आणि संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्राचा तीव्र विरोध असताना ह्या बेसुमार वृक्षतोडीची परवानगी वन विभागाने नेमकी कोणाच्या दबावाखाली दिली?
२. महाराष्ट्राचा निसर्ग ओरबाडून खाजगी कंपन्यांचे खिसे भरण्याचा हा अजेंडा कधी थांबणार?
३. नोव्हेंबरला होणाऱ्या भूमिपूजनाच्या घाईकरिता, महाराष्ट्राच्या पर्यावरणाचा बळी का दिला जातोय?
अशी घाई जरा राजवटीने हिंजवडी येथील मेट्रो, गोराई येथील मॅन्ग्रोव्ह पार्कसाठी दाखवून जनतेचा देखील विचार करावा!
४. बिल्डर मित्र आणि मालकांचे खिसे भरताना ह्या राजवटीला महाराष्ट्राचं नुकसान होत आहे, हे दिसत नाही का? एक तर २६५ तालुक्यांमध्ये दुष्काळ आहे आणि त्यात जंगल कापून महाराष्ट्राला वाळवंट बनवण्याचा प्रयत्न भाजप राजवटीने हाती घेतला आहे!
