What if robots could clean our rivers every day? 🌊 ClearBot ( Clear Robotics ), a solar-powered waste-collecting robot developed in Hong Kong, is helping tackle water pollution. According to engineers, it can collect up to 500 kg of rubbish daily, depending on weather conditions. Could autonomous cleanup robots make a real difference in keeping our waterways clean? 🌱 🏢 Company: ClearBot ( Clear Robotics ) , @clearrobotics 🎥 Media: RT India (@RT_India_news - X ) ⚠️ This content is shared for informational purposes only. ionq's capella space is launching two radar satellites aboard spacex's bandwagon-5 mission this morning. the mission is called "catch me if you can." acadia-11 and acadia-12 are designed to fly one behind the other. one satellite can send a radar signal while the other receives it. now imagine you're an engineer monitoring a dam. you need to know if the structure is moving, how quickly it's changing and whether there's a problem. capella already uses radar to measure changes on earth. but can these two satellites detect smaller movements, deliver useful measurements more frequently or produce more reliable results? i'd like to see capella take a specific location, compare what its existing satellites can measure with what the new formation can measure, and show customers what improved and by how much.

One thing I also enjoy following is edge AI chips, which are used for edge devices. Axera this week came out w/ AX8860 chip w/ 256 TOPS & 128GB LPDDR5X + 273 GB/s memory bandwidth. Uses 6nm process. This type of chip can run Qwen 27B model + visual model on the same box. A few of them together can run larger models even.

CPCA # of China's Sep auto mkt: BYD led the way 247k retail sales & 174k in export (it's stocking up the retail stores in advance of Q4, which will cause drop in Q1 sales) Geely, Chery & ChangAn followed them w/ 177k, 86k & 82k in retail sales. Everyone else under 80k. Domestic Sedan sales way down -38% & same w/ MPV -31%. SUV is -19% Export up everywhere. Sedan did the best YoY, but by volume, SUV saw the biggest jump YoY. For NEVs: 765k out of 1.084m were BEVs (so BEV ratio continue to climb). BEV -8.5% YoY while PHEV -35.7% & EREV -17.3% Basically, anything w/ an engine is falling rapidly this yr while BEVs are doing okay.

🚀 VA271 – LE-04 : Ariane 6's 10th flight is on the horizon! Arianespace is preparing to launch 36 Amazon Leo satellites aboard Ariane 64 from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana. Liftoff is currently targeted for no earlier than November 23. This will be the fourth Ariane 6 mission for Amazon Leo, bringing the total number of satellites launched by Arianespace for the constellation to 136, upon successful completion. For this mission, Ariane 6 will fly in its most powerful configuration, with four P160C solid rocket boosters. Another step in Ariane 6's operational ramp-up and our continued partnership with Amazon to help bring connectivity to more people around the world. #LaunchingAmbitions #Ariane6 @AmazonLeo

Finally official: XPeng MONA L05 will make its China debut on Oct 15. Pre-sales open the same day. #XPENG #MONAL05
XPeng MONA L05 teases again. Official says it must meet global quality standards and be adapted for 65 countries and regions. It will come in both BEV and EREV variants. This large five-seat SUV has three musts: must look good, must be big, and must be smart. • Look good: like L03, it gets a low-slung, wide-body, aerodynamic and muscular stance. • Big: 87% cabin space efficiency—5 occupants plus 9 20-inch suitcases. • Smart: it brings world-class ADAS into the sub-RMB 200,000 large five-seat SUV segment. Which of the three matters most to you? #XPENG #MONAL05

elisity's patent describes software that takes a security policy and translates it into instructions that existing network equipment can enforce. the customer doesn't necessarily have to replace its switches or rebuild its network. consider ionq's acquisition strategy. every company it buys brings technology that has to fit into somebody else's infrastructure. how much of that integration work can ionq take off the customer's hands? because the less work customers have to do to get something running, the easier it becomes to sell the next product. drive.google.com/file/d/18eO…

On this International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, we recognize the importance of building infrastructure that can remain reliable when communities face their most critical moments. 🚨 Natural disasters can disrupt terrestrial networks at the exact time when communication matters most. Resilient satellite connectivity can help bridge that gap, supporting the exchange of critical information, enabling coordination between response teams, and helping connected devices continue to operate even in remote or affected areas. At OQ Technology, we believe connectivity is an essential part of building a more resilient world. By extending cellular IoT connectivity through satellite, we are helping create networks that can reach beyond the limits of terrestrial infrastructure and support greater preparedness, responsiveness, and resilience.
