To every founder, engineer, and dreamer gathered at the National Theatre in Lagos today for Moonshot by @TechCabal: you have built world-class companies in spite of policy, and I want to be the President who builds policy that works for you.
I will give young companies tax relief in their early years. I will also make the government your customer by digitising public services, budgeting, and procurement, and I will require every new development to be fibre-ready. You have proven what Nigerian talent can do alone. Imagine what it can do with a government on its side. -AA

We help fintechs and other businesses know who they're dealing with.
When someone signs up, we help you verify their identity, confirm where they actually live, and detect fraud. Even after they're onboarded, we monitor their behaviour and transactions for suspicious activity.
So instead of using different tools for all of this, you can do it all with @todenhq.
Noticed something in my time working with founders, noticed it again at moonshot while I was moving around the exhibition booths
Most startups still find it very difficult to communicate the value of their product clearly. If in under 5 mins you’ve still not gotten to the point, then there’s a lot of work to be done.
That being said I saw some very interesting startups, not fintech sha

Toden helps businesses go beyond ID checks to know who their customers really are, where they live, and detect risks through continuous behavioural and transaction monitoring, even after onboarding.

Vote ends in 24hrs. Please vote for me: theeasies.com/vote?n=joshua-…
Voting for the ESEY Awards closes on Thursday.
KrosAI is shortlisted in the Future of AI category. The global winner receives $250,000.
For a company our size, that money goes straight into more markets, more telco connections and more of what our customers have asked us to build.
The public vote decides who goes through to the final, and right now every vote counts.
If you've watched me build this, a vote takes 10 seconds.
Vote for KrosAI in Future of AI, closes Thursday: theeasies.com/vote?n=joshua-…
If you can, send it to one person who'd vote too.
Thank you.

Let’s face it, things are getting ridiculously expensive.
A trip, a car, a new gadget, even basic things now cost hundreds of thousands or millions of naira.
And the reality is, most people can’t afford to pay for everything at once.
But you don’t have to wait until you have all the money to start.
Save little by little, earn interest on your savings, and let your money grow towards your goals.
Even better, you can save in USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, to help reduce your exposure to naira devaluation.
With @JumpaHQ, you can save towards your goals and earn up to 15% annually.
You might not be able to afford it today, but you can start saving for it today.

Send that man some solo content- he’s probably having a horrible Monday 😔
My Mac keeps running into disk storage issues. It fills up every now and then, and I’ve cleared space twice today. Is anyone else experiencing this?
On a separate note, why do the Nigerian police or army rely on mobile phones to call for backup instead of using radios?

A random act of kindness I like to show while interviewing candidates for a role, is to extend grace.
If I see you’re getting flustered, anxious or uneasy, I’ll calmly indulge you to take a deep breath, take a water break, even turn off your cam and get yourself back for a minute or two.
I think it’s something that’s absent in a number of interview conversations, almost like (some) recruiters don’t have the patience for that or see your flustering as simply not being competent. 🤷🏾♀️
