Do better @SouthwestAir. NINETY open seats on my 5 hour flight, and I was not allowed to move two rows ahead so an elderly couple I was seated next to in my row could have more room. We were one of the only full rows on the entire plane. Your new policies stink.

My 2nd experience with the new @SouthwestAir and… it got worse. Paid for better seats but didn’t get better boarding so my bag is rows behind me, passengers are being shamed for not packing light, and it’s taking significantly longer to board. Seriously. 0/10. I hate this.
My first experience with the new @SouthwestAir system and… I hate it. 0/10. Do not recommend. Can’t wait to do this 7 more times this month 😐 Might have to question my loyalty.

There have been a ton of tweets out there about the disastrous rollout of assigned seating at @SouthwestAir. Clusters of empty seats and jamming people unnecessarily. Overheads are a disaster. But the worst part for me is ruining the flexibility of travel for A List Preferred.
Another perk that has been trampled by @SouthwestAir is me not having to wake up to check in. Now that alist means zero, I have to wake up 48hours early to try and get a different seat that will prevent me from getting zone 5, again due to zero bin space for alist customers

Southwest new boarding procedure sucks. I paid extra $ for earlier boarding and plane is already half full and all overhead’s are full when I boarded. Boarding started at 9:55, it’s now 10:42 and they are on Boarding Group 3 of 8. Total BS! @SouthwestAir

Just took off on my first @SouthwestAir flight with assigned seating. I don’t know how this doesn’t turn into a marketing nightmare for them. No room for bags, people going many rows back to stow carry ons, then all the way back to the front for their seats. Plane was 10 minutes late taking off. On top of that, the price is much more for the hassle. They should abort immediately.
