Southwest new boarding procedure sucks. I paid extra $ for earlier boarding and plane is already half full and all overhead’s are full when I boarded. Boarding started at 9:55, it’s now 10:42 and they are on Boarding Group 3 of 8. Total BS! @SouthwestAir

Bought a choice extra seat (the most expensive of all the classes) which gives your Group 1 or Group 2 boarding. I was in Group 2 with a bulkhead seat. By the time I boarded, the plane was almost half full with all the pre-boards, families with children and Group 1.
