Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Okay friends, the time has come... ✨The Seerah App demo is now live✨ 👉 TheSeerahApp.com Duolingo for Seerah: helping everyday Muslims learn and remember the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Your Help 💡 What started as a collection of conversations, turned into an idea, an intention, and now a demo, presented to you. I'd love if you could support by: 1️⃣ Trying it out 2️⃣ Hitting the ‘give feedback’ button 3️⃣ Sharing with your friends and family 4️⃣ Telling us what you would like to see next JazakumAllahu Khairan...💛
And finally, feature 3/3 of this MVP Third (And Final!) Feature: Interactive Memorisation ✨ “We were taught the Seerah of Rasoolullah ﷺ like we were taught a surah from the Qur’an.” - the great-grandson of the Prophet ﷺ Just as we learn the Quran, we need to learn the Seerah. Learning techniques 🧠 In our problem statement, the intention of this app is to facilitate remembering the Seerah, not just getting through it. So this feature will focus on two well-known learning techniques: 1. Active recall: actively retrieving information from our memory, rather than passively absorbing information 2. Spaced repetition: reviewing information at a later time to improve long term memory This is how I’ve embedded this: Quizzing feature 🤔 1. There are quiz questions embedded in the chapters 2. A final quiz at the end of the chapter (active recall). 3. You must pass all the questions in the final quiz to progress to the next chapter (spaced repetition) Intention💡 I was in my Islamic class one evening, literally in awe over what I was learning. I mentioned to my teacher that what we were learning was incredible, but it was a lot. How was I meant to remember it all? He advised, in his typical, profound yet blunt tone: “It’s just hifdh Kamilah, just memorise it”. It got me thinking, why are we reserving memorisation for the Qur’an, when we need the Seerah to fully understand it? How can we embody how the Prophet ﷺ lived if we can’t remember his life? This is why this next feature is so important. Your Insights 👊 And there we have it, our third and final feature of The Seerah App MVP! Whilst I finish off the final chapter before I share the url with you, feel free to give me feedback of this feature As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas about everything — content, structure, design, future features or anything!

‘Make clothes that fit’ ‘improve the quality’ shop somewhere else? people are acting like asos is THE government-mandated clothing supplier. Go one step better and shop secondhand… shop slowly… go into stores and try things on… properly. Rewear things you have!! Christ!
Well ASOS if you actually made clothes that fit so I wouldn’t need to buy multiple sizes we wouldn’t have that problem, consider me no longer a customer. Whilst you’re at it, improve your clothing quality before you act all high and mighty . @ASOS_UK
