Very excited to host @xractor and @DebbieDeerProds at the Next Stage Immersive Summit this June to talk about their work at York University: live performance + XR + an amazingly talented group of IPBOC artists + a commitment to access, environmentalism, and diversity!

This is the future for #xr #theatre and even #therapy. So much of how we make sense of what people are saying is actually based in subconscious movements like these “micro-expressions” that we only perceive as passing emotions or instincts we can’t normally explain rationally.
OpenBCI@OpenBCI26 Jan 2023
Researchers from the University of Auckland investigated how facial “micro-expressions” could be combined with EEG, GSR, and PPG data to bring more realistic emotional communication to digital avatars and interactions. Read more: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3583…

Finally had a chance to catch the wonderful #AChristmascarolVR - first as a passive audience member, then went on a photographic expedition as the story unfolded. Only in VR theater! Congrats @iBrews , @xractor and everyone involved - hope this becomes an annual tradition🎄

Breaking News! did a live VR show for attendees of a superhero themed corporate event. I newscast from VR to entertain folks waiting in line while onboarding audience to save the city, thanks @catalystarts co-producing this hybrid installation! Maybe we Repeat with a new theme?

🎉 Thank you @xractor and @mycana_vr for performing Seikuken at our closing party. The avant-garde avatars were a true nod to the Bauhaus Ballet and movement as a whole 🫶

4/ Off-Rail by #raptorxr features some of the best VR actors/improvisors around, led by the wildly talented @xractor himself. I laughed my ass off during the entire show, and the grin stayed on my face well after. Grab some friends and see this show in @VRChat!

This was so much fun and well planned! Involving the audiance into a show like this can probably only be done this well in VR.

@[email protected]. I joined Twitter to follow people in #XR. So far on Mastadon I’ve found … one of them. I don’t have high hopes.
