13k members, a verified account, years of work — all GONE over a ONE WORD “dollhouse”
roblox terminated my accounts over the word “dollhouse” in clothing descriptions from almost TWO YEARS ago. these were completely ordinary clothing items, and the tags were simply copied from other clothing creators. i had forgotten these items even existed and hadn’t used those tags since.
what makes this even worse is that roblox’s AI support keeps rejecting my appeals within just a few minutes, making it seem like they aren’t even being properly reviewed. no real explanation, no meaningful investigation, no opportunity to have someone actually look at the context.
years of work, time, and effort are being taken away because of harmless tags on forgotten clothing items. creators deserve an actual human review, not automated rejections and generic responses. this is unacceptable.

Im just gonna post it here, since many people have came to message me about them being terminated for the same reason, this is what i say to everyone. I sent close to 200 appeals and ive continued the email thread where i got unbanned in, for continuing questions. And 1/2

Roblox moderation system approved 17 of my appeals while rejecting the other 13, even though all 30 assets were banned for the EXACT same reasons and contained the exact same keywords. These shirts were published and approved by the Roblox moderation team at the time of upload

2 months ago, I was permabanned from ROBLOX with no reason attached. I've made countless appeals, to which not a single one got a response.
I was then informed I'm legally not allowed to know anything about my ban due to being automated.

around 6 of my accounts, including my younger sister’s, were terminated for “terrorism and violent extremism.” my clothing contained absolutely nothing harmful. the items were uploaded around 2 years ago, and the descriptions only included common keywords and tags that creators constantly copy from each other. i was banned over words like “cutecore” “com” and “doll house” — ordinary words that aren’t insults or extremist messages. how could i possibly know that such harmless terms could lead to all my accounts being deleted?
i’ve lost years of work, time, and money because of what appears to be a serious failure in roblox’s ai moderation system. i already know of over 100 people affected by the same issue, and their appeals are being automatically rejected too. this needs a proper human investigation. people shouldn’t lose everything over harmless tags and possible false positives. @RobloxSupport @Roblox @KreekCraft @Roblox_RTC #RobloxDevs #Robloxdev #RobloxDevelopers #Robloxsupport #robloxhelp

My Roblox account has been terminated because Claude decided to upload a bunch of AI generated images without showing me them first via open cloud api. If anyone knows how I could contact Dev relations or get me in contact with them it would mean the world to me! Its not fair that I got terminated for something I did not do or have any knowledge of.

i can confirm this has affected me and many of my friends too. we used these tags thinking they were completely normal keywords for clothing descriptions, and had no idea they could supposedly be associated with terrorism or extremism.
some of these tags, like “dollhouse” (literally a house for dolls), seem completely harmless to the average person. most people wouldn’t even know there could be any other alleged meaning behind them. the same goes for aesthetic tags like “cutecore.” people use these terms to describe clothing styles and help others find items, not to promote anything harmful.
this many people getting permanently banned over ordinary tags raises serious concerns about automated moderation and possible false positives. creators shouldn’t lose years of work because a system may have misinterpreted a few words, especially when the actual items contain no harmful imagery or messaging.
appeals should receive proper human review instead of what feels like an automated rejection that gives people no real chance to explain the context. mass bans like this need to be investigated, and accounts that were terminated by mistake deserve to be reinstated. please take a closer look at this situation, @Roblox @DavidBaszucki @KreekCraft
