I love how ADHD makes me pick the most random chore at the most random times. Of course, the correct response to realizing I'm out of fruit cups was to bust out the screwdriver and tighten all the cupboard doors and handles in the kitchen. Of course.

Try these stories with characters with gender identities or gender expression that challenges traditional cultural 'expectations' and ideas around gender. ow.ly/N25950NeLIk More LGBTQIA+ reads: my.christchurchcitylibraries…

I spent $100 on wool and months of crocheting to make a covered cat bed for mine, and neither cat will go in it—they only sleep on to of it.

I built my cat an entire damn tank complete with an armored turret for him to peer out of, and he refused to go in it.

It's census day, and I will be answering the census so that I am included in the transgender population number. If you are trans, I highly recommend that you do this too, so we are all counted 🫡🏳️‍⚧️
I will be answering the census with my assigned sex at birth as 'female' and my gender identity as 'male' given that this is how transgender population data is derived, and the more of us there are recorded, the greater the justification for increasing gender affirming healthcare

(tw injury) My dad drove himself to the ED, by way of A&E, after he lost a third of a finger about 10 years back. He didn't call my mom until he was all checked in, and she dragged me all the way into town to insist that I drive him home. 😆

Snacks and water by the workspace so I remember to eat and drink, ideally snacks that are crunchy and not too greasy (currently on salted nuts). Also, noise cancelling headphones and energetic playlists!

We Woosters do not lightly forget. At least, we do - some things - appointments, and people's birthdays, and letters to post, and all that - but not an absolutely bally insult like the above.

⚠️ (1/4) It’s important we all consider food safety during this time, especially if the power has been cut off to your fridge or freezer at any point. ❕ Here's a few tips that might be useful if you return to a home that has been without power.
