So this Voodoo2 with one pin missing on the FBI and several random ones crushed and touching each other was stuck on eBay for 3 weeks. So I decided to help it.🤷‍♂️ Straightened all crooked pins and soldered the missing leg back with a wire. And it started working right away.🤪

now THIS is a cursed repair. the intact legs are as straight as I can get them without breaking them. I've repaired 3 legs so far and have 4 more to go (one of the pins exposed is not connected.) hope I can fix this!

I have a new sound card thing to try out. The Silly Sound Bastard by Necroware. Sound/music via the parallel port. The 8-bit DAC is based on the #Covox Speech Thing. Compatible with many #MSDOS games and it can also emulate the Tandy 3 Voice.
