SACRED BODIES by VER @verface A negotiation between a newly wedded couple that takes an angle not usually explored in a dynamic like this, but where it fits like a glove. And, you know, it looks THIS stunning: shortboxcomicsfair.com/shop-…

Some of the best character backstory design and beautiful coloring I've seen.

less than a week till SBCF'24, where I will be debuting a new comic! SACRED BODIES is a story about what different people/s see as taboo, and the socio-cultural lines that delineate propriety and deviancy. Also there's bird monster people, wow

congratulations to the newly-wed couple 👰💒🦅
a very simple and stylised version of the two characters from Sacred Bodies. The character on the left, a human woman, is embroidering with a peaceful expression and closed eyes. The character on the right, a large bird person, is weaving reeds and glancing over curiously or nervously at the woman.

Sacred Bodies Definitely one of the comics I was most hyped for prior to release. It's a story about love, alienation, touch, and safety. The Ba'it are also one of the most unique creature designs I've seen- a good mix of both fantastical grounded. xitter.cf/SBComicsFair/status/18…

If you can afford to do so, please get this story. Absolutely fantastic and a unique ( at least to me) take on the monster/human relationship

Cards of Camelot, the King Arthur deck I designed with illustrations by @verface, comes out TOMORROW!! Every face card features a character from Arthurian legend. It also includes a book of games to play with the cards, and short stories about the characters. ❤️♠️♦️♣️
