I really don't get the purpose to coming on here. How do you pop your balloon because you sense the guy is nervous? What does that have to do with finding a companion?

“Whatever You Are Doing in Nigeria Today, You Must Add Politics Because It Affects Everyone, Whether You Are in Government or Not. If We Continue Keeping Quiet, Our Country Will Turn Upside Down Completely.”
– NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, speaking yesterday at the Knights of St John International in Awka, Anambra State.
Obi urged Nigerians to become actively involved in politics ahead of the 2027 general election, adding that everyone has a role to play and should become a polling agent.
He also questioned why the APC-led government, despite claiming to have saved ₦15 trillion, could not dedicate ₦1 trillion to building 10,000 primary healthcare centres across the country.
According to Obi, fewer than 100 primary healthcare centres are currently functioning in a country with over 200 million people and more than 10,000 wards. He explained that building one healthcare centre would cost at least ₦100 million, meaning ₦1 trillion could provide 10,000 centres.
He further recalled his visit to a university hospital in Enugu, where nurses reportedly rushed to take pictures with him. Obi said he encouraged them to focus on discussing governance rather than taking photographs.
He cited his experience at Oxford University, saying that whenever a minor politician visited the institution, students would question the person about governance instead of rushing to take pictures.
“Nobody Should Vote for Me Because I Am Igbo” – Peter Obi Speaks on Tinubu Government's Borrowing, Says Loans Will Burden Future Generations
“Within the last three years, this government has borrowed $100 billion without delivering meaningful outcomes. The people who will repay these loans are our future children. If you look at the repayment schedules, some of the loans are due between 2040 and 2050, effectively shifting the burden to future generations rather than those who authorised the borrowing.
Nobody should vote for me simply because I am an Igbo man. Look at all the candidates contesting and choose the person you believe can do a better job. As far as I am concerned, among the three major candidates, I am more qualified than them.”
— NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The OK ticket is not one of master and subordinate. Kwankwaso is too big to be anyone's subordinate.
What we want to achieve here is having a president and vice on paper, but essentially having two presidents running the country in tandem.
Peter Obi sees Kwankwaso as equal. There will be no insubordination because there won't be any subordinate

Ladies and gentlemen, why are the PPROs of different state police commands always targeting Rinu?
You guys saw that of Bright Edafe, Ben Hundeyin, Adejobi, Josephine Adeh since 2020.
I give you Okasanmi Ajayi, the PPRO of the Kwara State Police Command, a state known for extreme disappearances, torture and arrests.
Why is a police spokesperson using his platform to ridicule a citizen making sexist remarks and mocking #EndSARS protests?
He is being paid with taxpayers’ money yet has time to target and intimidate critics of the police?
Who is holding them accountable for this conduct? @PoliceNG @RulaacOrg @UNODC_Nigeria @UNDPNigeria @policereformNG

Interestingly, robust #ECONOMY and other influencing factors like #security #health #education and rule of #law has always being my main focus in every #Election cycle.
Unfortunately, many Nigerians focus on ethno-religious identities (things that cannot improve their QoL.
Watching this clip gave me a hundred and one feelings all at once. A billionaire is telling you that the current government's policies and "reforms" are tailored to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, but some ordinary Nigerians who belong among the poor don't mind selling their souls to help push these devilish reforms.
Atedo Peterside is a billionaire and you can hear him imply that the "reforms" favour him, yet he's here telling you that they are not the right reforms for a country like Nigeria and where we are at the moment.
That said, let me say the things I believe he didn't want to say out of the need to maintain decorum. In plain words, the reforms are tailored to favour the corrupt. Billionaires like him who built clean wealth from the grouns up just happen to benefit from the reforms because they're vested in the same financial spaces the corrupt ones steal all our commonwealth to get into and colonise and there's no way to stop them from benefitting from the so-called "reforms."
A good illustration is a known corrupt ex-militant trying to execute a majority takeover of a Nigerian bank. We don't understand how dangerous these things are, when people like that suddenly have enough wealth to attempt to take over our financial institutions. This is the legacy that the government of the day wants to entrench, and brethren, this is why we must fight, and fight like our lives depend on it.
Nigeria may currently be plagued by elites and billionaires who are either just as corrupt as the government or depend on government patronage for survival and so can not speak the truth to power. This is why I always say a silent prayer of gratitude whenever I listen to Atedo Peterside speak
