One of the weirdest things about British politics is that everyone on the right over the age of 35 somehow thinks they were alive for World War II

Hes selling it and it’s deeply embarrassing for all the leftist content creators who could do little more than complain about the optics.
.@ZackPolanski "I support everyones right to self determination but not at the expense of another group because thats racist" Spot on. If self-determination requires the dispossession/displacement of another people its not self determination, its ethnic cleansing/colonisation

My feed is once again a split screen of burned, broken and terrified children in Gaza versus the UK political psychodrama about what can and cannot be said about the ideological engine of the Israeli government.

i remember when words and concepts had meanings, when they might be arbitrary but still they had standard meaning… it was bad with neo-liberallsm but with illiberalism, neo-managerialism meaning has evaporated. Democracy means Genocide and so on…

Feeling unsafe as a British Jew and sitting down for a chinwag with the guy who kept a book by Holocaust denier David Irving on his shelf, for the publication that published the article "In Praise of the Wehrmacht". Okie dokey.
Historian Simon Schama and Michael Gove discuss the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Britain, why British Jews increasingly feel unsafe, and what history can teach us about the war in Gaza. Watch in full | youtu.be/o7nMNK2jwk4 @michaelgove @simon_schama

We could be refurbishing and building houses. We could be developing technologies to improve the sector's productivity, and to enable the democratic co-design of places. But the money is being used to maintain the lifestyles of landlords. This should annoy us more than it does.
Just a quick reminder that we're spending a huge amount on housing; we're just not investing enough in building new housing. In 2024-25 we spent £36 bn on Housing Benefit and the housing element of Universal Credit and £2.84 bn on temporary accommodation for homeless families.

Grenfell - 72 died from the fire, at least five died by suicide, 11,000 have PTSD, concerns about long term effects of toxicity on residents, 11 firefighters with terminal cancer - plus £1bn spent and rising. That's 'nothing' right?
Cutting red tape costs taxpayers nothing. It’s a common sense solution to get Britain building.

Britain now has race riots every year, fascist parties do significantly well in polls, the RNLI is abused and attacked by racist scum but the biggest headlines about bigotry are the UK greens because they called out a genocidal country half the world away
They're protesting in Dover saying "get them dirty n*ggers out, dirty little darkies"

This is the question, isn’t it? And once you ask that question the whole confected moral panic begins to unravel in the face of what is revealed as complicity in an ongoing instance of the crime of crimes, genocide. And their attempt to conjure up a moral posture crumbles to dust
Why has the level of outrage heard from Labour MPs yesterday not been heard when Palestinian children have been murdered by Israel on an industrial scale?

Don't vote for the Jewish lad, he's antisemitic. It's amazing. The world is turned upside down and people start walking on the ceiling without a single pause.
