Local restrictions were lifted in Wigan last week and are scheduled to be lifted in Bolton, Trafford and Stockport tomorrow, but remain in place across the rest of Manchester. This looks hard to justify based on the most recent data.

I showed my Dad this dashboard so he can judge whether he wants to head out this week or stay in without having to keep a daily record of total COVID cases in his local area... yes, he does actually write down a tally so he can calculate if cases are rising or falling.

Full pillar 1+2 data is being shared w/ local public health bodies, so some health officials know what’s going on in different bits of the country, but this data is not shared with local councils, mayors, MPs, who’ve had to ask for it & wait weeks. Useless in fast-moving pandemic
