For context... Toe by Toe Book uses nonsense words on purpose. They're not real words, which means your child can't memorise them so they have to decode each one using phonics sounds alone🙂 It's one of the most effective dyslexia tools out there and also one of the most challenging but that's exactly why it works💙

This dyslexia program really does change lives!! A few weeks ago, a fellow homeschooling mom in my neighborhood asked if I could tutor her almost 11-year old son with severe dyslexia. We’ve used your book for our lessons, and now his confidence is soaring!! I am enormously proud of him and so grateful for all the effort that went into creating this incredible program!! Thank you!!

🧵 As a headteacher now, I look back on School Action and School Action Plus with a degree of fondness. He child who really needed a statement of special educational need had one. The child who needed to go out with Mrs Retta for twenty minutes and do Toe-by-Toe or go
If the SEND leaks are true I really worry where this will leave families, children & schools. I question/worry about… - A return to action/action + under a new name - Who will determine a child’s SEND needs - The workload of SENDCos

Yes! Toe By Toe is awesome and so reasonable compared to many other dyslexia curriculums. $40 for the giant thick book, teacher’s guide and notes integrated into it.

Every day, children with dyslexia are being told they’re lazy, slow, or naughty — when what they really need is support. This isn’t fair. It isn’t right. And it is fixable. 🎯 Train every teacher. 📍 Spot every child. #comeonbridget @jamieoliver Demand Change for dyslexic learners, sign up here: bit.ly/3Tm6Hxj
A very welcome announcement from the Secretary of State for Education @bphillipsonMP this evening - She is committing to proper training for new teachers to get better support and outcomes for children from Sep 2025. This is a start. #ComeOnBridget

The stories so many of you have shared in response to Jamie’s Dyslexia Revolution - about your own journeys, struggles, and strengths - have been powerful, emotional, and deeply moving. If you’ve got something to say about dyslexia or neurodiversity—whether it’s your own experience, a frustration, or a big idea—please share it with @bphillipsonMP with the hashtag #ComeOnBridget and let her know that change is needed! So proud of my youngest today. She’s severely dyslexic & has visual stress. She struggles to read & will pick films or audiobooks over reading a book. She has tried so hard, teaching her to read using toe by toe. Today she asked for the HP series in books to try & read 🥰

I cannot recommend Toe By Toe enough. It’s from the UK but not well known here. We’d done all of the traditional dyslexia programs and then switched to this. My daughter went from reading at a 1st grade level to reading at a 10th grade level in 4 months. It was WILD.

Toe by Toe helped my daughter a lot. It was recommended by a friend with dyslexic daughters not by school. Thanks for putting face to the one tool parents can access that really allows children to make progress.

I've had dyslexia all my life.. I was put in a remedial class when I was 6 because I wrote some letters backwards and couldn't read.. But thankfully I had the most wonderful teacher, Mrs Cowling, thanks to her patience and kindness I eventually learned to read, then she taught me after school at her home twice a week until I could write, I'll always be grateful to this wonderful woman.. Please read her story, it's inspirational... thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/n…
