People often ask me why I freelance.
It's simple.
I get paid more to work on better projects with more interesting people. And I can work when, where, and how I want.

Hey freelancer -
Summer is almost around the corner!
Make sure to take some time off.
You deserve it.

Getting a 'no' from one prospective client doesn't mean you've failed.
In fact, it's a good sign that your rates are high enough.
Selling retainers has almost nothing to do with luck.
Instead:
- Start with a one-off project first
- Identify an ongoing need
- Position the retainer as an investment
- Make it easy to say 'yes' by providing clear cancellation terms
