It seems some are habituated to selective reporting of Court proceedings for content farming, click baits and social media clout.
Experienced court reporters know to segregate comments made in lighter vein from serious oral observations made by Hon’ble Judges.
@the_hindu needs to conduct a refresher course for some of its legal correspondents on first principles of court reporting.

A friend has informed me that he has just gotten an NOC - absolutely without bribing - for his school to be moved to CBSE. He has been trying this for the last many years and the "bribe rate" charged was way beyond his ability to pay. CM Vijay and Minister Rajmohan deserve all the appreciation.

Anna Nagar: Another complaint received through Makkal Saatchi says the same Metro Water AE collected ₹2 lakh for water and sewerage connections to an under-construction commercial building on 3rd Avenue without any online application.
After the previous complaint, the illegal connections were disconnected but no action was taken against AE Bharath.
How many more such connections have been given? An immediate investigation is needed.

There is a serious #POCSO case in #TamilNadu involving #Veeramani that somehow seems to have escaped the attention of people usually so alert to precisely these issues, so I thought I should help bring it directly to your attention.
It seems to check almost every box of the causes you are usually so vocal about:
☑️ Caste injustice
☑️ Vulnerable communities
☑️ Institutional failure
☑️ Speaking up for those without power
So I assumed this would naturally be one of those cases that earns your voice too.
Speaking up about this case would certainly be consistent with the public identities and social-justice credentials you have so carefully built over the years.
Anyway, now that the case has been brought to your attention, I’m sure we can look forward to hearing from you.
