Useful this is. If you haven’t already set up a scheduled morning brief on Claude.
Run my morning brief using the morning skill (load it with the Skill tool, name "morning", and follow it). This is an unattended scheduled run: just render the brief, don't ask questions or suggest connectors.
Language: English. Home timezone: Asia/Calcutta. My name: JPK.
Cover: what's on my calendar today (Google Calendar), important unread or unanswered emails where I'm the one being asked (Gmail), any chat messages if a chat tool is connected, and anything that needs my attention today, including prep for tomorrow's meetings. Keep it short and scannable. Never use em dashes anywhere in the brief.
Publish the brief as an artifact and send me a short message with the one or two things that most need me today.
If you’re going to do this make sure you write in some security rules with Claudes help. @sdrth makes a good point in replies.
Should just fight wars in a simulation.
We’re launching the Army of Robots.
In 2022, we launched the Army of Drones. Today, drones account for over 95% of battlefield strikes, and Ukraine has more than 700 UAV manufacturers.
Now we need the next technological breakthrough: the robotization of warfare.
The goal is simple — save lives. Robots should take on the most dangerous missions: evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, mining and demining, reconnaissance, defending positions and engaging targets.
The Army of Robots is not one company. It’s an ecosystem. We will invest in defense tech companies, launch our own technology projects, test them with the military and scale what works on the battlefield.
We’re now looking for defense tech companies and engineers working on robotic technologies — as well as a CTO / Tech Lead for the Army of Robots.

One thing that frustrates writers these days is even their ORIGINAL WRITING gets called AI SLOP 🤷♂️
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Excellent pov from @WarpaintJournal. I have been guilty of thinking this way in the past but realised how much it affects people (including myself sometimes when others do it).

PLEASE CAN ALL OF YOU WRITE LESS? NOBODY CARES FOR YOUR STUPID SAAS CASE STUDY OR WHATEVER. NOT ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD IS WAKING UP THINKING: WOW TODAY I WILL READ A CASE STUDY ABOUT HOW I CAN TURN GRANULAR DATA INTO ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS OR WHATEVER.
WRITE LESS. WRITE BETTER. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU.
WRITE LESSSSSSS PLEASEEEEEEEEE

This will go down in history as one of the all-time greatest print ads for sure.
Like @lulumeservey says
"Everything is fake now. Fake content by fake influencers with fake engagement from fake followers, launching fake products with fake testimonials. A Potemkin village on a global scale, a glossy facade propped up by heaps and heaps of beige slop. Temu for content."
Being real on the internet is special!
Just so everyone knows...we got a quote for a “launch video” package from the company everyone uses.
$17K for the video. +$25K and they hand you 50 influencers who will push it, repost it, and flood the comments so the viewcount goes above 500k.
That’s the exact recipe behind almost every “viral” slop launch video.

Starting today, I'm writing a weekly opinion column titled #Parallax for @timesofindia. The first one, "The Trouble With Getting Used To Miracles", deals with why we must remain curious, ask questions and verify. Scientific temper isn't a luxury!

Unless you work in a repetitive, dead end job all of these are important for you to develop taste. The mind needs quality input for it to produce quality output.
"Beyond a point" is right.
Everything you do outside of the actual work, say networking, research, studying, events, beyond a point, is a distraction. It feels productive. It feels in service of the craft. But the hard thing is to sit at your desk. What happens between you and a piece of paper, or a screen, is what matters. It is the only thing that matters. You will try to avoid it for as long as you can but that is what you must come back to again and again.
India has more than 50x’d solar energy generation and doubled wind in the last 12 years.
India’s non-fossil power capacity has crossed 300 GW as of July 31. This puts the country at 60% of its 500 GW target by 2030.
Breakdown of what’s in that 300 GW:
Solar: 164 GW
Wind: 58 GW
Hydropower: 57 GW
Bio: 12 GW
Nuclear: 8 GW
Solar alone accounts for more than half.
Non-fossil sources now represent 54% of India’s total installed generation capacity (total capacity: ~552 GW).
In 2025-26 alone, India added 55.29 GW of non-fossil capacity. 44.6 GW solar, 6 GW wind.
The expansion is increasingly accompanied by efforts to build domestic capacity for manufacturing renewable power equipment.
