The amount of people I see on Facebook groups that need to understand this. 🤦‍♂️ 😂

You're not doing anyone any favors by making DoorDash your main source of income because "I LiKe ThE FrEeDoM" when it still doesn't pay the bills

Yelling at the staff and the constant “excuse me how much longer” isn’t gonna get it to you any faster.

My area, that starts around 8:30. By 9 it's all fast food and I'm heading home. Not worth the whopping $1-1.50 peak pay thats frequently offered.

As someone who came from the customer service retail world, I am constantly having to remind myself of this.

As a Dasher and independent contractor, you have no one to complain to but yourself This frustrates the hell out of people too used to a W2

Exactly. Not the same situation, but mine was close. And I view money the same way.

I grew up poor with a single father who worked at the post office Since high school I knew I couldn't carry on this same burden Money isn't just money to me It's about not having to starve, rewear dirty clothes, and wonder if I'd have enough quarters to afford the school lunch

Big facts. Food rarely ready from any place with a crowd.
DoorDash Master💰🚗💨@themasterdasher20 Aug 2021
If there's anything to complain about right now with DoorDash, it's the labor shortage People are ordering food again, but there's not enough people working to get these orders out quickly Lots of wasted time on our end

Just starting last week we picked up huge. I had 3 days in a row where I was $30/hr or more, it's nuts.

Before my car got totaled, it was slow as hell. After literally a full month since the last time I worked, I logged back on last Monday. It’s been wonderful. Not a single day I haven’t made $20 an hour yet.

Doordash strikers: - - "I could actually make over $100 everyday guaranteed if dd would show me full payout and stop hiding customer tips.. I could make twice that amount if it weren't for hiden tips."

I can't even sit at home. The zones I need are 20miles away (current closest) and 8 miles away (coming in October). If I'm not in the stupid outline on the map, I don't get orders. People that live in the zone are lucky. But even if I did, I can't wait all day for a unicorn.

Exactly. Screwing myself to spite customers that won't change won't pay the bills. I'm sorry for the "decline everything" idiots, but my pocket is more important to me than the bs they're pushing.
