I looked at the first 3 days of EV in Harris County (Houston) and marked the precinct lean of the 62 vote centers that stayed the same between 2026 and 2024. Vote centers in precincts that voted for Harris are higher and Trump are lower. The redder the precinct the lower the turnout:
2/ Looking at the @longhornderek data, Republicans are voting like a midterm, while Dems are voting like a general election. That's not great new for the Texas GOP
Texas GOP mega doner switches to Democrat @TeamTalaricoHQ. Explains why here:
I don’t put my name behind just anyone. 🇺🇸
I sat down with James Talarico and heard balanced, honest answers on security, the economy, and issues facing Texas families.
That’s why I support @jamestalarico for U.S. Senate.
Election Day is Nov. 3. Make your plan to vote. 🗳️
In 33 months Houston built an entire Austin airport. 22 gates came online today, with another 26 gates coming online in 15 months.
Meanwhile Austin, which currently has 34 gates, spent 18 months debating their 6 gate Concourse M, broke ground 3 weeks ago, and might be done summer of 2028.
A major milestone.
@HoustonTX Mayor John Whitmire joined Houston Airports and @United to mark a major milestone at IAH.

Your regular reminder that there is no such thing as "free parking." You either pay for the parking lot with a fee, or it's embedded in the price of everything else. Paying for parking radically improved Rice Village!
Houston early vote data is tracking better than midterms, but behind general elections. Implies that despite record breaking spending, there is still some vote to turn out, but wow these are record breaking numbers. Hard to conclude anything tho:

Happy first day of early voting in TX to all who celebrate 🎉 so grateful to the thousands of people who stepped up to work at the polling places this year so their neighbors can vote + to the many election officials who worked so hard to clear the state's registration backlog 🎉
Nothing will satisfy Islamophobes. If an American Muslim automatically disavows terrorism too quickly we get this response, if we try to provide too long of an answer, we're "obsessed," and if we ignore it we're trying to hide something. It's exhausting.

I love DKR, but my God our cheapo artificial turf looks awful on TV, and causes so many unnecessary injuries (per the @NFLPA). Can't switch to back grass fast enough @_delconte

Billions of dollars’ worth of contracts predicting oil would fall and the S&P 500 would rise were placed about 15 minutes before Trump announced a U-turn on Iran in a post on Truth Social. CFTC staff began to investigate-- then were told to lay off. bloomberg.com/news/features/…
This apology is brought to you by the unique governance structure of Texas A&M where the donor run @12thManFndtn runs ops, ticketing, and even owns the stadium bonds. No other school let's the donors run their team like this, which is why Elko's criticism could not stand.
