Austin Concourse B, first proposed in 2017, and part of the 2040 Master Plan. No current ETA other than "in the 2030s"
I only looked at the 62 that stayed the same. The closing of other centers may affect turnout, but i didn't look at it.
2/ Looking at the @longhornderek data, Republicans are voting like a midterm, while Dems are voting like a general election. That's not great new for the Texas GOP

Texas has 20 media markets. Just because you see someone in one doesn't mean that the other 19 see it lol. Streamers target by viewer!
I looked at the first 3 days of EV in Harris County (Houston) and marked the precinct lean of the 62 vote centers that stayed the same between 2026 and 2024. Vote centers in precincts that voted for Harris are higher and Trump are lower. The redder the precinct the lower the turnout:

Switching to paid parking revived Rice Village fwiw. Actual shoppers didn't care about the $2 and loved the increased availability.

I stand corrected. Apparently based out of Corpus, while the Principal lives in San Antonio. Still never heard of him, never seen a commercial in Houston.

He's a prominent GOP donor, but nobody outside of Dallas and donor circles has ever heard of this guy.
Texas GOP mega doner switches to Democrat @TeamTalaricoHQ. Explains why here:
I don’t put my name behind just anyone. 🇺🇸
I sat down with James Talarico and heard balanced, honest answers on security, the economy, and issues facing Texas families.
That’s why I support @jamestalarico for U.S. Senate.
Election Day is Nov. 3. Make your plan to vote. 🗳️
In 33 months Houston built an entire Austin airport. 22 gates came online today, with another 26 gates coming online in 15 months.
Meanwhile Austin, which currently has 34 gates, spent 18 months debating their 6 gate Concourse M, broke ground 3 weeks ago, and might be done summer of 2028.
A major milestone.
@HoustonTX Mayor John Whitmire joined Houston Airports and @United to mark a major milestone at IAH.
22 new gates. State-of-the-art facilities. The world’s biggest United Club℠.
The new Terminal B opens tomorrow.

Tough day for PHP. Provokes a lot of tough questions about open source software.

Your regular reminder that there is no such thing as "free parking." You either pay for the parking lot with a fee, or it's embedded in the price of everything else. Paying for parking radically improved Rice Village!

Ugh, I hope they learned from their EWR fiasco. It's a club that looks amazing in photos, but unusable by business travelers.
Houston early vote data is tracking better than midterms, but behind general elections. Implies that despite record breaking spending, there is still some vote to turn out, but wow these are record breaking numbers. Hard to conclude anything tho:
