I don't tweet enough. It's because I believe that unless the work has been perfected, it shouldn't be shared.
But this experiment is too interesting for me not to share.
Inspired by @kuberdenis and his Clopus experiment.

Thanks to everyone who tried Poly on its first week. We now have real jobs and services!
This week’s updates:
1. New Credentials feature. Poly supports all types of accredited credentials from PhDs to vocational and online. Credentials / qualifications enhance your profile and make it easier for employers to find you.
2. New onboarding UI. The feedback was clear - “Looks cool but what can it do?”. Instead of progressively revealing the UI, we now show all features greyed out from the start.
3. New way to turn on/off emails about matching jobs. Pause them if you're no longer looking for work.
4. Many bug fixes and nicer chat UI.
Try it at Poly.site!

In the future, you'll want to upload all your personal data to AI.
This is @temporalwave's thesis. But to make this work, we'll need AI to run on computers that are personal, durable, and yours.
This is where Urbit comes in. Owen Barnes explains:

In August 2019 the @NonFunGerbils began the first dedicated NFT podcast. Episode 1 featured @temporalwave and in less than 50 minutes he described the need for an artist like @jackbutcher, ‘How can you use NFTs to make an idea propagate far and wide? Can we take an idea and reward people for how far they spread it… potentially mutating that idea so every time you see something it’s a slight mutation. I don’t think we’ve seen that yet.’ (29:30); and predicted the emergence of POAPs and soul bound tokens. Such a good listen chaps 👏 #genesisgerbil

Damus will be removed from the app store in 14 days, apple says zaps are not allowed on their platform because they *could* be used by content creators to sell digital content. This is right before we’re about to give our talk at the oslo freedom forum on how decentralized social networks with lightning integration are bringing financial freedom to the masses... pretty sus… 😕
This would be a watershed moment: If people can’t transact freely p2p on their platform, this has huge implications for the entire ecosystem of apps with lightning integration and v4v.

An unfortunate downside of 1559 and the merge is that it killed the idea of 'clean ETH'.
Pre-1559, one can get 'clean ETH' by
1. finding an arbitrage in the network,
2. write a contract that executes it in the constructor,
3. forward a portion of the arbitrage to the miner,
4. forward the remaining to a fresh address of your choice,
5. sign and send this tx to a flashbots relay with `gasprice = 0`.
Now you have an address with ETH that's completely unlinked. The ETH comes from proof of arbitrage, i.e., proof of work!
Before the merge, you could perform another kind of work, with GPUs and joining a mining pool. The ETH that you got from it was even cleaner!
I'd love to see EIP-1559 loosened up so that the arbitrage trick can still work.
With EIP-1559, zero gas transactions are no longer possible.
Together with @lightclients and @gballet, we reintroduced them by implementing a PoC for a gas ticketing service.
It uses blind signatures to fund unfunded accounts in a privacy-preserving way.
