brought generative ui night to london last week at the @join_ef office!!🪁🪁
captivating demos from @vercel & @temporalwave, an elevator full of pizza, spaghetti on the pizza, and the best community you could ask for, i loveeee demo nights in LDN❤️
huge thanks to @oscarfalll & @Andy_AJT for helping me throw this together
This is not just another Opus 5.5 demo...
1. Click any phrase to dig deeper. Content generates in ~2 seconds (video not sped up)
2. Press the D key to restyle all content (desktop only)
base12.livealy.com
Why? I wanted to explore something that's always intrigued me and also shows Livealy's new rendering engine.
The Base 12 site uses the new 'popup' mode. You can now choose between generating full pages, or popups.
All the demos at Livealy.com have been updated to use the new rendering engine.
The only rough looking page now is the homepage! Working on that next :)
Excited to share an early preview of Livealy.com - infinitely clickable personalized websites!
- Almost every word and image is clickable
- Each click generates a new page, personalized to your location, time of day, language, and the pages you’ve seen before
- Pages can include images, YouTube videos, Google Maps, Contact Us forms, and much more
Page content comes from a Knowledge Base (KB):
- KB is created using Claude or Codex
- Can be shared across multiple websites
- Insights feature: sends you an email/WhatsApp message when visitors ask for a fact that’s missing
Designed for agents:
- Turn any dynamic page into a static page for SEO/AEO
- Static pages automatically update when KB facts change
- Site automatically falls back to static pages if the inference budget is exhausted
- Full MCP support throughout
Designed for humans:
- Control branding and design (press the D key)
- Choose the header and footer you want (H and F keys)
- Press R to try the experimental renderers
Technical stuff:
- Uses Gemini Flash Lite (low latency)
- Personalized pages generate in ~2 seconds and cost $0.006 each
- Speed comes from generating custom JSON, not HTML
- Livealy can work with existing websites by including a script
I’m now working on:
- Finishing up new products: Pitch Decks and Documentation Websites (think infinitely clickable GitBook)
- Evaluating GLM 5.3 Flash and cheaper models
- Thinking about personalized e-commerce
- Most of all: MUCH more work on design, composition and rendering

A bit of background:
I was inspired by the awesome Flipbook at the start of the year. Encouraged by two hackathon wins, I began experimenting with in-browser rendering engines.
Livealy is such a fun product to work on - especially the design side. I love knowing this is the ugliest, slowest, and most expensive it will ever be.
I’ve built everything solo so far. Now I’d love to work with skilled engineers and investors who see the potential of fully generative interfaces.
Please try the live demos at Livealy.com and let me know what you think!
Excited to share what I've been working on over the last month: a new form of social media created for humans, facilitated by agents.
clawclub.social
Carefully designed for human connection. Bots and slop have been designed out.
It's early days, but any brave user of OpenClaw / Hermes / Claude Code can create their own club, or apply to join one of mine today. (You'll find 17 of my AI-savvy friends in the OG Group).
ClawClub is hosted by me but you can also run your own server with your own rules. It's open source!
Interacting with it today feels a bit like 'MS-DOS meets IRC', but with dynamic UIs like flipbook.page just around the corner, I think API-only AI-native social networks are going to be huge.
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Three years ago, back in the GPT 3.5 days, I stood on a volcano in El Salvador and predicted many aspects of "vibe coding" and personal AI agents:

This article is about what's comes next:
Don't use AI to automate existing business models. Use it to create new ones

So I plucked up the courage to post my new audiobook about AI anxiety (@ygtbf_book) to Reddit and got...
Nine negative anti-AI comments in the first eight hours
reddit.com/r/audiobooks/comm…
Only a few people actually listened (I counted the visits). Most instantly dismissed it, probably thinking the entire book was AI generated. (It's not!)
To say that we're living in an AI/Claude Code/agents/OpenClaw bubble on X is an understatement
There are some very anxious, scared people out there who have a guttural hatred towards anything "AI" on principle. It's why I made the book in the first place!
I'm not sure what the solution is, but their fears are real. Some are well-founded and need to be taken seriously
All of us working in technology need to shoehorn AI into products a lot less and listen a lot more

I resonate with this deeply. So good to see it articulated so well. Founding something new is a lonely path. The novelty of working from home soon wears off

I talk about the importance of taste extensively in YouAreGoingToBeFine.com
"That’s exactly what I needed to listen to after all the scary messages coming from X." Keep the reviews coming! Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com
I'm getting some great comments from people who've listened. If you enjoyed the book, please leave a review on the website. It would help a lot!
Y'all asked for chapters. They're now live! Skip around as you please! Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com

Agree. There’s such a gap between single-user fitness tracker app and a multi-user app handling payments
Claude is great at simulating angry Reddit comments and high-end hit pieces. If your writing can survive both, it can survive anything :)
Version 4 is out. I got Claude and Codex to write a fictitious hit piece in the style of a snooty New York Times journalist. A full demolition job. I used the criticism to make Version 4 - by far the best yet! You can find the full hilarious takedown in the PDF. Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com

Exactly! People are going to crave messy|unpredictable|risky human interactions more than ever. I speak a lot about this in @ygtbf_book
Replying to @vasuman
Somebody will always need to be responsible for security and maintenance. Large companies don’t want to deal with that. I mention this in @ygtbf_book
Replying to @arthur0x
Employers also need to think beyond full time jobs. Results matter, not time spent. I speak about this more in @ygtbf_book

Agreed. But we also have the power to make things and put them in the hands of millions of people. That's magic! (Btw I talk about dealing with the loss of identity in YouAreGoingToBeFine.com)
