Bioware employees losing their jobs is a good thing and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. The AAAA industry is shrinking but deserves to disappear.

Here are your romance options in Mass Effect: Androgmeda.
1. This bitch with that haircut.
2. The ugliest asari you've ever seen.
3. This thing that doesn't look human at all or have any parts a man would like.
Allow me to interject for but a moment.
ESG funds lost over 5 trillion dollars pushing poopy buttsex, androgyny, ugly non-White "representation" and transgenderism across all fields of entertainment.
The jew known as Larry Fink doesn't see this as a loss, but rather as a means to an end to control and program the people. The sheer loss of finances are made deliberately. They do not care.
The upper management of these gaming companies are either jews themselves or generally out of touch boomer retards who rely upon their younger, middle management.
This middle management is comprised of indoctrinated queer retards pushing their own cultural marxist ideologies.
They continuously lose money hand over fist producing dysmal, broken, unfinished, buggy queer shit that's supposed to appeal to the "masses" except for the fact this entire industry was built by and is comprised of straight men.
Sodomy, ugly masculine "women" and transgenderism will never be mainstream. Will never APPEAL to the general straight male audience.
So what eventually happens when these decrepit dogshit studios staffed entirely by queer marxists produce woke abhorrent dogshit like Veilguard, a game so fucking awful the best figures it achieved was ~1.25m players (not sales) but PLAYERS thanks to service subscriptions and game pass?
The upper management retard will fire one indoctrinated queer marxist, learn nothing, and then replace them with another so the whole process can be repeated again and again.
Eventually, at some point, having produced nothing but utter gay dogshit for the better part of 12 FUCKING YEARS the losses can't be sustained by jewish capital and thus the studio must die.
But hey, I'm sure Mass Effect 5 would've been a banger despite the fact the studio itself hasn't actually had a critical and receptive success in almost two decades.
Six fucking years of pre-production. So glad this shit got scrapped. But at least they owned the chuds along the way and we got a kick-ass cinematic trailer with no fucking gameplay. LMAO.
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 agent
• Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

I've picked up some heat from my previous tweet saying it makes no sense that the Humans are aligned with the Batarians. Everyone saying "It's been 600 years opinions can change" doesn't understand the full scope of why Humans aligning with the Batarians as a 2nd Clique makes no sense, and this isn't even a "Batarians icky" kind of deal. There simply wouldn't be any Batarians left to ally with, and if you'll indulge me, I'll explain why below.
Short version: Batarians are straight fucked. Demographically, culturally, logistically fucked. We're talking 'six ways to Sunday' kind of fucked with no easy way out. There's very little chance of them making a rebound even in 600 years.
Long version: Let's start with what we've seen and what we've been told in ME3
The Batarian core territories are right fucked. Most people only grasp this in vague terms. Yes, it's understood that the Batarians took the brunt of the Reapers' first strike with practically zero prep time, but it's far, far worse than that.
Harvested Batarians were the backbone of the early Reaper war, and Cannibals remained a large bulk of encountered enemies up until the end. If we take the rough ratio of enemies encountered throughout ME3 as representative of the larger war effort, then Cannibals made up between 1/4th to 1/3rd of the entire Reaper frontline force ACROSS THE GALAXY.
To do that in a galactic-scale war would require an incomprehensible amount of Batarians to be harvested, and this doesn't yet include the Batarians being harvested as biomass to create new Reapers. The bulk of those Batarians would be coming from Batarian Space. The non-human Reaper forces you face on Earth during Operation Hammer were probably harvested from the Citadel, which means even the Batarian refugees that hunkered down there were fucked too.
So, what does that leave the Batarians to work with as a species?
Well, to be frank, not much.
Of the surviving Batarian population, most would be from the Batarian diaspora living in the surviving independent colonies and stations across the Terminus (a disproportionate number of which would be male mercenaries, pirates, and slavers). The surviving military forces would be a minority (and probably 100% male, let's be real), while the last minority group would be survivors from the home territories. It's unlikely the Citadel refugees made it out of the station before being liquidated.
The most generous estimates would put them in the tens of millions, an insane drop from pre-war numbers of around 10-ish billion (15 if you want to believe Hegemony propaganda).
So, to properly rebuild, the Batarians would have to:
1) Deal with a gender imbalance so insane, it makes the looming crisis in China today look tame.
2) Deal with the fact that all their infrastructure was vaporized by the Reapers.
3) Deal with the fact that a large proportion of their survivors are outlaws.
4) Survive long enough that the other races can sort out enough of their own shit to redirect resources to Batarian space.
5) Not devolve into 20th-century Chinese Warlordism.
Even if they manage to get over all of those hurdles (which, let's be honest, is doubtful), best-case scenario, the Batarians would basically live in little reservations, like the Native American tribes of today.
Worst-case scenario is they go extinct.

"Baldur's Gate 3 had..." Let me stop you right there. On one playthrough I was a paladin that tossed every degenerate character off a ledge, smited them into oblivion or burned them to ash with Dragonborn breath.
Was any of that an option in Veilguard?

You'll notice that there isn't a single person like this willing to take the extremely mild position of, "Hm, OK, maybe we did go a little too far with the gender stuff," every last one of them is telling you not to believe your lying chud eyes, they don't even have the guts to say, "yeah, we put a ton of progressive gender politics in our games, we're glad we did believe it's a cause we believe in," first they tell you you're imagining things, then they tell you it's always been there, then they'll finally just call you a bigot

BioWare is not, like, a guy. BioWare closing is not like Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino getting fired or cancelled.
BioWare is a business entity that existed for 30 years. During that time people — including lead creatives who were responsible for the great games — came and went.
Some video game studios manage to maintain a culture and a sensibility around excellence and the key creatives either stick around for a long time or pass the reins to handpicked successors who share their values and preserve the culture and standards of the studios.
What has happened in the game industry over the last 15 years is that there came to be a widespread belief that the cultures that incubated excellent games were exclusionary racist, sexist, homophobic boys clubs that needed to change in order to welcome in different kinds of people.
Instead of hiring people who shared their values and sensibilities, the people at these game studios were pressured to push their workforces toward being 50% female while achieving racial equity. The staff of the studios changed dramatically, the cultures of the workplaces changed dramatically and the games changed dramatically.
The pandemic sent a lot of people into their homes to play video games, which seemed like it was going to drive an era of growth for the industry. At the same time, the new generation of gaming hardware required more detailed assets, more animation, and therefore more people to make these massive games.
So there was a huge hiring boom at the precise moment that there was an overarching focus of the demographics of the industry, which means that nearly every Western game studio’s workforce was completely transformed. Over 40% of games industry workers under the age of 25 identified as LGBT or nonbinary on recent surveys.
Additionally, some studios have had unique pressures that have driven a lot of turnover. At Rocksteady Games, for example, a lot of the people who made the Batman: Arkham trilogy were not interested in building the live service game Warner wanted, so most of the principals on those games left the studio during the production of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.”
The studio cannot pivot back to what used to be its strength at making single player titles after that failure because all the people who are responsible for the classic games are gone. They no longer have that strength. They no longer have the institutional capacity to make great games because great games are made by great people and the great people are gone. A similar thing happened to BioWare during “Anthem.”
They couldn’t just pivot back to making great “Dragon Age” or “Mass Effect” games after the failure of “Anthem” because too many people were gone and the culture had changed. They weren’t the same studio and they weren’t a great studio anymore.
The BioWare that was shuttered today is not the studio that made “Mass Effect 2” or “Knights of the Old Republic.” That studio hasn’t existed for many years. It was just the “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” studio.
