Replying to @JessicaTalisman
@JessicaTalisman has spent 25 years on the part of AI that nobody posts about. Most AI deployments skip all of it, then wonder why the agent is confidently wrong. Oct 14, 8am PT, with @d3fmacro. buff.ly/ntz2Eqo #Ontology #Semantics #OpenMetadata

Documentazo.

An analyst who understand their data sources can correct a wrong answer about cancelled orders from an AI query on their enterprise data. But the correction dies with the session, and next week someone else repeats it. So memory is an entity in Collate with owners, reviewers, certification, and RBAC. We improved Claude's accuracy 7x on messy enterprise data. Without changing the model or tuning the prompt. Using the Spider 2.0 benchmark, built on real production warehouses: messy table names, no documentation, a decade of naming drift. Claude Sonnet scored 10.8% accuracy. We ran the identical questions again, but with a context layer in place. Accuracy jumped to 76.5%. A context layer is where you write down what your data actually means, in a form the agent can read before it writes SQL. Without it, the agent sees tables and columns and has to guess. With a context graph, it actually understands your data. Watch🎥here👉 buff.ly/1eI0lJH #dataengineering #contextgraph #contextlayer #aicontext

DPDP introduces stricter expectations around how personal data is handled across its lifecycle. This includes consent tracking, purpose limitation, and accountability - all of which require real system-level control. As enforcement approaches, gaps in control become immediate risks. See how teams are building operational control in the DPDP whitepaper! Read it here: buff.ly/ucUL2me #DPDP #DPDPAct #DataProtection #DataPrivacy #PrivacyCompliance

BCBS 239 isn't just a regulatory checkbox. It's a framework for how organizations should manage, aggregate, and report risk data. At its core, it requires: • Accuracy • Completeness • Timeliness • Traceability Most teams struggle because these principles span multiple systems and teams. Have a look at the full BCBS 239 whitepaper to see how leading teams are operationalizing this in practice! Jo Perez is back with another fabulous episode of Data 30, "From Data to Decisions". Dashboards have been the default way to share data insights for decades. But as teams scale and AI enters the picture, the old way of building and sharing charts is starting to show its cracks. In this session, we'll look at what modern insight sharing actually looks like, from building dashboards with the right context baked in to making sure your team can trust what they're looking at. We'll dig into how a strong metadata foundation changes the way insights are created, discovered, and acted on across your organization. 🎥👉Watch here: buff.ly/2tRxszY #dataengineering #dataquality #datagovernance #ai #dashboard
