We’ve been ringing around today trying to find an addiction service, preferably an inpatient rehab, that is women only. Our person needs help but they have a LOT of trauma, assault and sexual assault from men. We can’t find a women only rehab in NZ. 😩 any leads out there?

After two days of many calls I’m beginning to think such a service doesn’t exist in NZ, which is very strange. There’s a great service that does in home support! I just worry that’s not going to give the break from the environment that is the center of the substance abuse 🙃

I don’t understand the anger at people who don’t have much. If you’re wealthy, or comfortable, if your kids are warm & fed, if you own properties, if you have savings etc. Why act vengeful or jealous of someone who has an income of $25,000ish. 80% move to a job within a year.
