How do you keep up with all the changes in AI ? That's the question I've been asked most in my bootcamps over the last two years. Well, I can now say it openly - it's a part of the job. Today, @Cyujun and I are launching @parallelloopai and coming out of stealth. Last year I spent a lot of time in rooms with leadership teams working on AI. Most were growth-stage/pre-IPO companies and mid-cap enterprises. Every one of them had access to the best models in the world. Almost none had AI doing real work inside the business. Though the tools can always improve, the things that make a company work, like how decisions get made, what the rules actually are and who knows what, live in meetings, email, teams and people's heads. They aren't in the systems. Yujun and I learned that the hard way building FairDee and then scaling Qoala across five countries. Intelligence has become abundant. What most companies are missing is the context, the systems and the capability to turn it into real outcomes. That's the gap we're building Parallel Loop to close. We work inside our clients' own environment, with their teams, and we ship production grade deterministic evolving workflows running in loops, in parallel. Thank you to @3one4Capital , @picuscap, @FlourishVC, @kunalb11, @waiting4_asi, @vijayshekhar and @philipyeo for backing us from the start.

Next, the banks are going to require that you take your device to the branch and use only their secured WiFi to access net banking.
When foreign banks work fine with a username and password (and that too via a password manager), why don't Indian banks? Why do Indian banks require a captcha + otp + specific browser + no password managers + (on mobile: access to GPS location + no developer perms + no USB)?

@frameo_ai just ranked #1 in Physion Labs’ independent benchmark of AI filmmaking agents. 88.7 overall - 20 points ahead of the runner-up. The result that interested me most isn’t the ranking. It’s why the gap exists. 🧵

Cleartrip was a true ode to craftsmanship at every level of the user experience. And, as I reflect, our “clearest” achievement was to prove India can set the global bar for a product. This has never been more important than today, for everyone in the Indian trenches. Do it.

Today marks 20 years since the day we launched Cleartrip. What an odyssey… a lifetime’s privilege to work with the remarkable team that made it happen. It’s actually humbling, to me, that the brand still stands, two decades later. 1/2

Back in 2018, I was seriously thinking about leaving design and moving into design recruitment. Excited? Yes. Confused? Also yes. Like most career transitions, there were far more questions than answers. So one Friday afternoon, I messaged @surdattack . "Sunit, I'm thinking of moving into design recruitment. Wanted to discuss a few things." A few minutes later came a reply in his typical Delhi style. "Abhi tu kahan hai?" I said, "Office mein hoon." "5 baje Koramangala Starbucks aa sakta hai?" "Haan, aa jata hoon." That evening, we met for the first time in person. I shared my thoughts, doubts, fears and why recruitment was starting to interest me. Sunit patiently listened. No judgement. No lectures. Just listening. Then he said something I wasn't expecting. "Main Embibe ke liye kuch design roles hire kar raha hoon. Let me know if you're interested." I still remember my reaction. I had never worked as a recruiter. No experience. No track record. No proof that I could do it. Yet here was one of the most respected design leaders in the industry trusting me with a real hiring assignment. That project became my first design hiring project. Over the next couple of months, while still working full-time as a designer, I ended up hiring around 5 designers for Embibe. Looking back, that Starbucks meeting changed the direction of my career. Sometimes all it takes is one person who trusts you before you have proof. Thank you, Sunit, for taking a chance on me when I had no experience. I'll always be grateful for that. 🙏 #DesignCommunity #DesignLeadership #Mentorship #DesignHiring #BeingUser

🚨Launching Depth (building in public) I've been tracking my body obsessively for 18 months. Wearables. CGM. Blood-work. Lost 25kgs. 3x Hyrox. Multiple marathons. I still couldn't answer one basic question: what's actually working? So I built something. 🧵

Attended a wonderful design event hosted by @noondesign and @ElevCap Really enjoyed listening to @surdattack, @harish_io, and @belindahuang A few thoughts that stayed with me: → It’s still a great time to be a designer. → AI can generate outputs, but taste, judgment, intuition, and conviction are becoming even more valuable. → Good design taste doesn’t come only from Figma or Pinterest. It comes from observing people, culture, architecture, art, music, fashion, and the world around us. → Design is probably much closer to an artistic pursuit than we often admit. Left feeling optimistic about the future of design. Curious what others think designers should focus on most in the age of AI. #ProductDesign #DesignCommunity #DesignIndia #uxdesign

💡Bar-tailed godwits are extraordinary migrants. They prepare by gorging on food to build massive fat reserves (sometimes doubling their body weight), then undergo physiological changes like shrinking internal organs to lighten the load and reduce energy needs. They can even "sleep" with one half of their brain at a time while flying. They navigate using Earth's magnetic field, stars, and other cues across the open Pacific with no land in sight. This juvenile bar-tailed godwit (tagged "B6") that set the world record for the longest non-stop flight by any bird (or animal) in October 2022 , migrated from Alaska to Tasmania, Australia. It flew approximately 13,560 km (8,425 miles) in about 11 days without landing, eating, drinking, or resting. This surpassed previous records set by other bar-tailed godwits (e.g., one in 2021 flew ~12,000-13,000 km). This is officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest non-stop migration by a bird.👌

🚨 JUST IN: A migratory bird just shattered world records — flying 8,425 miles (13,560 km) NON-STOP across the Pacific without landing once. The bar-tailed godwit doesn’t stop to eat, drink, or sleep during its migration across the Pacific Ocean. Its journey from Alaska to Australia takes roughly 11 days of continuous flight, covering over 13,000 kilometers through storms, headwinds, and open ocean with zero land beneath it the entire time. Before departure, it does something almost surgical to its own body. It shrinks its digestive organs down to almost nothing, converting the stomach, intestines, and liver into raw fuel. The bird essentially eats its own gut to make room for fat reserves that will power its wings for nearly two weeks straight. The brain doesn’t fully sleep either. Half of it stays active while the other half rests, alternating in shifts mid-flight at altitude over the open Pacific. The godwit is simultaneously unconscious and navigating with magnetic field sensitivity that no human instrument in the 18th century could replicate. What makes this genuinely staggering beyond the physical record is the navigational precision involved. The bird leaves Alaska and arrives in New Zealand with accuracy that would embarrass early GPS systems. It reads Earth’s magnetic field, atmospheric pressure gradients, star positions, and potentially quantum-level compass mechanisms inside its eye that literally let it see magnetic field lines overlaid on its visual field. Evolution spent millions of years building an aerospace navigation system inside a 300 gram animal. We spend billions engineering machines that do what this bird does on instinct, fat reserves, and half a sleeping brain. The longest recorded non-stop flight by a commercial aircraft is around 20 hours. This bird does 11 days. Without a runway.
