💢 Among the Israelis who attacked Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine is the reservist filmed last year ramming his ATV into a Palestinian man as he prayed by the road, Israeli Channel 13 reporter Yossi Eli reported.
The reservist ran over the man in Deir Jarir in December 2025, after firing shots in the area, the Israeli military said at the time. The army ended his service, and Israeli media reported his punishment was being held under house arrest for five days. He was later released, and no indictment was ever filed against him, Eli reported.
Israeli police say they have arrested 10 suspects over the weekend attacks on Levine and European diplomats.

Texas man dies in ICE detention center—was a legal permanent resident in U.S.
ICE has admit in an official statement that he did have a green card.
Despite this he was locked up for 4 months.
Staff refused to give him his heart medication—and ignored his report of chest pain and trouble breathing the day before he died.
ICE now claims that he obtained his green card fraudulently by failing to disclose a 2004 arrest for theft.
His daughter says they are lying—that everything was properly disclosed and legally approved.
Emiliano Andrade-Covarrubias lived in Dallas, Texas for more than 30 years.
He was the father of 3 U.S. born children and worked as a construction contractor.

I took a little social media break… my sister came to town from Alabama for a few days on her way to France for the birth of her first grandchild. We are close, but we don’t see each other a ton so it was nice to just spend time with her without being on here begging.
The need stayed the same, but I wanted to prioritize hanging out with my sister. And we had a nice weekend.
It’s funny, though, I don’t think she had any idea as to how busy we are here at the farm. She had to entertain herself when we fed in the mornings and afternoons (I wouldn’t let her help, she is on vacation) but I’d catch her up on the back porch or in the slider window watching us busy about.
She’s an animal person, too (mostly dogs) and I think now understands better why I do this. And she thinks Tyler is the most handsome baby. I mean, he is of course, but she loves him…
The weather has significantly improved. We were super cool over the weekend and we will warm up this week into the mid-80s, but the mornings are absolutely beautiful and everyone is so very happy for the cooldown. They are moving and roaming more and they are playful with each other.
Over the weekend we received $335 in donations, leaving us just $225 from the month’s hay goal. Thank you Sarah, Tanya, Laura, Michelle and an anonymous donor, too, for getting us so close.
The farrier will be here Thursday for ten trims at $60 each, including baby Tyler, so if you’d like to sponsor him (or any of the nine others) we’d be so grateful.
We still need to buy a pallet of feed for $850 (covers a month), I’ve been piecing it together and buying a couple bags here and there to get us by. I hate doing that…

shooting the 1-year-old child of that "suspect" is even more egregious.
yes, hard to see how this would ever have happened if those involved were white. the "suspect" would not have been shot, let alone her child; in fact, no one would have (falsely) reported the theft if the "suspect" were white.

So just to be clear.
Two women and a baby went into Walmart and bought diapers. Someone reported them for stealing the diapers after they left the store.
They got in their car and started driving away, unaware of any problem.
Police pulled up, fired into the moving vehicle and killed the baby.
The only people who DIDN'T make a mistake here were the ones in the car.
You continue to willfully ignore the reality that most broodmares are NOT going to be sport horse candidates, as a breeder this wilful ignorance is especially egregious.
You should be funding retirement sanctuaries for these broodmares, which instead have to beg for $.
If the horses had real value as riding prospects like they did in the 80s and were scouted off the racetracks, a lot of this would stop. The TB Renaissance series aims to (and WILL) change the demand for our Tbs as sport horses. The problem is not the horses, it is the demand for them. If they are worth 10k as sport horse prospects instead of the pittance they have been (people beg to give them away for free or up to 2500) it will move the needle to getting these horses off the track while they still have the time and ability to have long second careers. Stay tuned .. big changes are coming and the Renaissance series has the support of the Hunter / jumper world. 🌎 it will not save them all from being pasture pets but I guarantee it will save many.
