On Thursday, it's time for two sessions @IMC_Leeds #IMC2023 that Stefan Nyzell and I organized on Viking Heritage and History in Europe, I & II:
1) imc-leeds.confex.com/imc/202…
2) imc-leeds.confex.com/imc/202…
The papers are of chapters in our forthcoming anthology with Routledge!
En route to #imc2023 and a happy consequence of my train being replaced by a bus is an impromptu tour of Fenland cathedral cities. #Cambridge and #Ely are done with #Peterborough next. If you want to hear about @Ely_Cathedral and its power networks, then come to #s1537 on Thurs.
Happy #StÆthelthryth's (aka #Etheldreda, aka #Audrey) Day today everybody, especially to @Ely_Cathedral and @RevRichardColes' dog! A reminder that whatever you do today, don't let it be tawdry!

The BBC has just reported that the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations will end with a pageant featuring 'puppets of corgi (sic) and Ed Sheeran'. So which would entice you more to attend, a solitary corgi puppet or an Ed Sheeran puppet?
Team Human just recommended I read Bloodtide by Melvin Burgess. Find your personalised reading recommendations #BigBookDraw survey.bigbookreview.co.uk
Yes, a few! My first thought is look at @StThomasWay which is a pilgrimage route from Swansea to Hereford that can be done virtually, so could be used as part of classroom research. @MissDavidsonRE I have messaged you with my email address so we can talk about other things too
