How about celebrating St Frideswide's special day with a walk along her newly created pilgrim route between Oxford and Reading, a section of the Camino Inglés?! 👣 (Guide books can be purchased @ChChCathedralOx and from the @CSJ_UK.)
Happy St Frideswide's Day! 😇 Frideswide is the patron saint of Oxford and her shrine @ChChCathedralOx is still visited by pilgrims today!

St Oswald's Church, Heavenfield, stands on the site where, it's said, King Oswald raised a wooden cross before the Battle of Heavenfield in 634. Today it stands on the St Oswald's Way and is again a place of pilgrimage.
