Who would've thought the sequel would be just as good as the original?! The @AusChampionship kicks off today so @lachieflannigan and I previewed it for @football360au - the competition in context of the current football landscape and group by group

Congratulations to everyone involved at @smfc 👏👏👏 I can’t imagine the emotions you’re going through after that. Especially to the people who lived through the NSL and then had to experience over 20 years of being in their wilderness and then were able to see their club resurrecting again.
To all the volunteers and supporters in particular my two pals @smfcmike & @SMEMUFC who have stood by the club and given their all to it when a lot of people gave up on it, enjoy every single bit of this achievement.

Sweet. It will be so much better nowadays when the weekly ethnic soccer violence can be fully captured in 4K

Overwhelmed by emotion on National TV wasn’t quite on my bingo card, but it was quite possibly the best day of my life.
20 years of blood, sweat and tears at @smfc, and we did something incredibly special.

We don’t post on here as frequently any more, but they do!
Good morning to all the Hellas fans who never left our side and keep supporting our incredible club.
Enjoy the moment @smfcmike and @SMEMUFC

Wow. @smfc the first non A-League team to win the @AustraliaCup.
Amazing scenes. One of the great occasions in Australian domestic football in recent times, regardless of the result. ⚽️🇦🇺

So. You can take a ~$15m licence fee as a one off sugar hit.
Or, you can have these guys come in and bring millions of extra dollars into the ecosystem each year by turbocharging interest.
Surely you can’t deny nights like this…

Heading to the game today?
Get to AAMI Park as early as possible, with heavy congestion expected around the Melbourne Park precinct due to four major events.
Gates open at 6pm. Merchandise will be available inside the West stand of the venue while stocks last, so get in early to grab your Hellas gear.
