kallisto sped up RNA-seq quantification by 50x. Now another 50x speedup... quantify hundreds of millions of reads in a few seconds.

With another semester ending, here's your annual reminder that teaching evaluations systemically disadvantage women. Even when controlling for grades and other factors, students (esp. males) consistently give female professors lower scores. This can have serious ramifications.🧵

Question re: scientific posters. My trainee is studying a mouse model of disease, and would like to include a published image of someone with that disease in their poster. Can they just cite the publication, or are there other requirements they need to follow? Thank you.
