Yes, this is what I did. It was for an arrow on a button. However, it was on a shared component and I wanted a solution where I could change the arrow design without having to change the HTML.

I started using grid before subgrid was available and somehow never got around to using it once it was released. I think I need to just create a working example so it clicks and I start reaching for it where it makes sense.
