I really dislike the passive language around systemic and interpersonal violence against Black people.
"A bullet struck a man" vs "Cops shot another Black man."
"Voters get stuck waiting" vs "The GOP's intentional voter suppression campaign against non-white voters worked."
We saw ridiculously long lines for voters in Georgia today.
