And now for something a bit different… I'm joining @andykonwinski and the @LaudeInstitute team as Design Engineer, where I'll be leveraging UX principles to help create more upside impact from computer science research.
Today, I’m launching a deeply personal project. I’m betting $100M that we can help computer scientists create more upside impact for humanity.
Built for and by researchers, including @JeffDean & @jpineau1 on the board, @LaudeInstitute catalyzes research with real-world impact.

Cold-pressed juice really helped me. If that's too expensive, a sugary drink with electrolytes like Gatorade also helped me.

@GavinNewsom I hope you'll join the legislature in fully funding the Active Transportation Program. We need more bikeways and fewer highways. #CaliforniaBudget #climatechange @CalBike

@i_Akshay09 Is this an error? Seems like the commented result should be 510, not 15? Or am I missing something? builtin.com/software-enginee…

Did you get a holiday catalog from @Amazon? You can opt-out of #junkmail under the "Marketing Information by Post" preferences here: amazon.com/gp/cpc/homepage?r…

Traction so far has been US-based because
1. There's a ton of junk mail in the US – it helps fund the postal service
2. Opting out is cumbersome and decentralized
I don't yet know where else both of these statement are true.
Life update! I’m moving back to San Francisco next month and working full-time on Mel, the missing unsubscribe button for postal mail 👉 talktomel.com

The lot is looking very nice now. Nice mowed grass and–other than a couple dozen cans–quite clean. Thank you @WendellPierce 👏
