I welcome the recommendation of the Grenfell Inquiry. I particularly welcome the call for greater transparency and coordination within government. I thank the Inquiry Team for their diligence in a detailed examination of the Grenfell fire and hope the lessons learnt ensure that such a tragedy never happens again. My thoughts and prayers are with the survivors and their families.

BREAKING: Kamala Harris rips into Donald Trump for disgracefully claiming that the civilian Presidential Medal of Freedom he gave out is "actually much better" than the Medal of Honor given to soldiers.
This is a new low even by MAGA standards...
"Itโs actually much better, because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, thatโs soldiers," Trump said at his Bedminster golf course. "Theyโre either in very bad shape because theyโve been hit so many times by bullets, or theyโre dead."
The Harris campaign quickly condemned the shameful remarks.
"Donald Trump knows nothing about service to anyone or anything but himself. For him to insult Medal of Honor recipients, just as he has previously attacked Gold Star families, mocked prisoners of war, and referred to those who lost their lives in service to our country as โsuckersโ and โlosers,โ should remind all Americans that we owe it to our service members, our country, and our future to make sure Donald Trump is never our nationโs commander in chief again," said

She added that American voters "owe to our service members" to reject Trump in November.
