They're also with HSBC, but I can't really rely on HSBC given how they operate. 😅 It's a decent 2% base reward card, with: 🎯 5,000 miles on ₹1.5L quarterly spends ✈️ 5% via Kotak Unbox on flights, hotels and vouchers 🎁 Gift cards and gold aren't excluded as of now 🏨 1 mile = ₹1 on flights and hotels 🔄 2:1 for transfer partners Went with the RuPay variant since there are no miles on forex spends, so Visa or Mastercard didn't make much sense. RuPay also gets some occasional offers. There's also a glitch currently allowing you to apply for the card as LTF: 👉 tinyurl.com/KotakAirPlus-LTF Apply for LTF at your own risk though. The bank can roll this back anytime. You get 2,500 miles on renewal against the ₹3K fee, which is almost full value back if transferred to Accor. HSBC finally manually credited 50K Accor points, including the bonus, after I escalated the issue mentioned below. So the Accor issue is sorted. ✅ The June DC cashback issue is still unresolved though. HSBC continues to be unpredictable. 😅 If you're facing a similar issue, raise it with the bank and keep escalating. DM if you're stuck or have any doubts

🚨 Axis Major Devaluation Alert Effective 2 April 2026, Accor, Qatar Airways and Marriott have been removed from the transfer partner list. An overnight change with the new financial year clearly shows urgency behind this move. Either Axis Bank was taking heavy losses on these transfers or something major triggered this decision.

🚨 Another overnight Axis devaluation and change in process. Looks like ITC is gone and Qatar is back. More details are awaited, so stay tuned. And the timing couldn't be worse. 😂 Just today, I transferred 50K to ITC. Now I'm seriously regretting not transferring more. 😭 After Accor and now ITC, Axis is practically becoming useless for hotel transfer partners.
