Rather than allow other browser engines to install-to-homescreen on iOS, Apple is removing the feature entirely in the EU.
Some features are tied to install-to-homescreen, such as push messages. Apple is unshipping those for EU users.

Just an observation but I very rarely have to use @caniuse anymore. Having learnt my craft on Netscape Navigator and IE6 this really feels like we've reached the hallowed land.
RFH! At work our node app is randomly crashing with a GC heap limit error but I'm struggling to detect why. Are there any tools specifically to help diagnose what is causing it? β at Hackney, London

In addition I wonder if Front End will be the hardest to replace with AI because of the nuances. The various screens, different devices and need for a "human touch"...
A free trial is not free if you have to put your credit card details in...
If your product is so good just give a free trial!
We all know the "put your card details in" is a pathetic attempt to get some money when people forget to cancel the automatic conversion to paid.

Incredibly happy that after months of delay, Microsoft Edge now has dark/light/high contrast, blurred vision and colour deficiencies emulation as part of the Device Emulation toolbar! Test the accessibility of your product whilst emulating mobiles and testing responsive designs

Introducing "Learning Patterns": patterns.dev - a free 435+ page book on JavaScript + React design & performance patterns from @lydiahallie and I. On the web, ePub & PDF.

ALT Patterns.dev is free book on design patterns and component patterns for building powerful web apps with vanilla JavaScript and React. We publish patterns, tips and tricks for improving how you architect apps for free. Keep in mind, design patterns are descriptive, not prescriptive. They can guide you when facing a problem other developers have encountered many times before, but are not a blunt tool for jamming into every scenario. Patterns.dev aims to be a catalog of patterns (for increasing awareness) rather than a checklist (what you must do).
I was taught to use frame based layouts... I miss those simple times

It's a lazy way to select the best developers assuming you have a lot of candidates. Often used by big companies who are recruiting for lots of positions. It's awful because it limits diversity and wrongly assumes good developers are good at performance coding.
