Normanhurst Boys HS tennis ace, Aleksandar Vukic, is making his Wimbledon debut this weekend. Outside the world’s top 200 in February, Aleksander sits at a career-high world No. 87. Aleksander is already a champion to us! smh.com.au/sport/tennis/the-… smh.com.au/sport/tennis/the-…

The Normanhurst Boys High tennis ace making his Wimbledon debut at 27

From the outside, it might appear like Aleksandar Vukic has made a rapid rise - but the path to his dream has tested his patience and provided doubts.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I have appointed @dizdarm as the ongoing Secretary for @NSWEducation. It is a priority to me to have a teacher leading the department - this valuable, grassroots knowledge is something you cannot learn without first-hand experience.

After a mass shooting left 51 dead in 2019, New Zealand sprang to action, quickly banning most semi-automatic weapons and launching a buyback scheme. Jacinda Ardern, the country’s prime minister, said the response was “pragmatic.” nyti.ms/3lHVC9m

Parents should never have to worry that watching our children walk onto a school bus or through the school’s front door may be the last time we see them.

I recently visited Gledswood Hills Public School with Peter Sidgreaves MP to announce that funds have been committed for a multi-million-dollar upgrade. Enrolments have been increasing in this key growth area of Sydney so we'll provide another 20 new classrooms with this upgrade

I have had lots of teachers asking me if they can use my children’s stories to make online videos for their pupils. Normally you have to get the author’s permission but please feel free to do whatever you like with my books at this time. Use them at toilet paper if that helps. x

Stand proud Horsley Park #NSWRFS members. In such tragedy & grief you have all been simply inspirational serving the community, while grieving two irreplaceable mates - Andrew & Geoff You've truly honoured them & I'm confident they'd be most appreciative of what you've all done.
